Anyone know if these are bad or good I have them all over all my girls. They don't seem to be doing anything that I have noticed
Yea tell me about it I found 4 on jus one plant yesterday. I guess it's really starting to be "that time of the year" lol ya I been leaving them along been noticing them for a while now and I don't thing they are doing any harm. There actually really vivid coloring pretty cool. Jus thought I would see if there good or bad bugs and I'm assuming that spiders are good too? Found this fucking in the same plant as the bugsLeave em alone if they're not eating your plants. My two cents.
I've seen all kinds of bugs and spiders on my plant, the only ones that cause any trouble are the caterpillars.
You sure that's them? They don't really look like that? And I haven noticed water wherever they wereIt's a sharp shooter. They suck juices thru the plant stem walls. They pee as much as they suck. Look for water droplets on leafs below them . http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glassy-winged_sharpshooter http://www.bing.com/search?q=glassy+wingedsharpshooter&qs=n&form=QBRE&pq=glassy+wingedsharpshooter&sc=8-25&sp=-1&sk= I haven't found an organic way to rid them. They don't seem to cause damage but something sucking on your plant is not good. They can carry a disease . That's what wiped out all the Oleanders on the California freeways.
So you see damage from these guys on yours?Yeah I've got those same bugs here. They are leaf hoppers and deserve a good squish. Just come under and surprise em.
