Ok guys a noob here so I have been watching youtube videos and I have been reading Threads in here on how to Fim and top your plants but my question is can you only fim the top or can you fim other branches of your plant... or fim is only ment to happen at the top of a plant. Check this picture below, the plant is none of my plants I am just using it as an example to explain better my Thread.

You can but here is the reality of fimming. It does not work on all strains. Could be strain specific or the percentages of how much you leave behind has to be exact.

not true. all plants have a natural reaction from a leaf cutting. every action causes a reaction. everytime you cut a leaf it causes the roots to do something. people say you cant fim stevia b.s i got a 7ft bush in my yard. but i do have a indy thats has a slow down after it is fimmed but when it comes out it takes off.

ive successfully FIM'd barneys farm pineapple chunk, BF laughing buddah, and kyle kushman strawberry cream.

OP, I FIM heavily thru veg. I actually FIM, supercrop and lollipop ALL my plants. I give 1 week between each one, and i do it in that order. then pull cuttings I week before flipping. i have a PC strain that has 11 tops, and a LB that has 8 awesome large colas. id say not too bad for a 1st time grower. :) see sig if your interested in my grow journal.

Yep I gotta agree with Mr. Lewis on this one, I FIM quite heavily too, on all my plants, with the same results as my fellow michigander, DemonTrich.

Cannabis plants are very easy to manipulate to suit whatever your needs are. UOENO, just go for it and FIM away, your plants will respond accordingly, just be sure that they don't dry out if your growing in soil. So that the plant cells have all that they need, to do what ever job they are programmed to do.

Keep up the growing man, you will learn so much about the capabilities of your plants that you can't learn by reading forums and books.

Some response better than others but all can be trained some just yield way better and other s only yield a little better most of the time it is very beneficial. Try it on some and not on others some plants do better with 4 tops others will produce 16-30 tops well with good cola size just keep the under growth trimmed out if their going to be big
