6500k for vegging and hit them with more than 1 2700k for flower. The more light you can get without raising temps too much the better ime.

Oh, mine did that too on the leaves tips.....I put 1/4 tsp of baking soda with my nutrients when I watered and it kept other leaves from doing the same thing and was fine.
What nutrients are you using?

This thread is very useful!

also for your lighting schedule, you're going to want to keep a consistent schedule while in veg. They're regs right? And not autos? I think maybe an 18/6 for veg and 12/12 for flowering. Look it up a lil and see what light schedule you'd prefer, but don't keep switching it up during veg. ^^

Ur first set of leaves will die..that's normal...that young just pay close attention to new growth....and never go 12 n 12 if u want it to veg...only do 18n6 or 24n0... 12 and 12 will make plant start to bud...u gotta do some research my brethren for sure! Ignorance is bliss

Seriously thx for the advice but you didnt have to add the "Ignorance is bliss" part...thats not necessary ...seeing that im on this forum for the sole purpose of gaining knowledge...not to ignore information. Therefore i am not ignorant.

I doubt he meant it like that but ya never know in the growing forum. The Growing Forum is 'bout as abrasive as the Politics forum at times lol. SOMETIMES, moreso ;)

I recommend Fox Farm Grow Big for veg, and then during flowering add fox farms big bloom and tiger bloom. At 1/2 strength. ^^ it's about $8 a bottle each where I live and they're good nutes for beginners. I also add Epsom salt and occasionally baking soda, but be careful because those nutes don't have any calcium in it, so you're goin to need to find a way to feed calcium too. (Which is my current problem)

and woo! Exciting! They're gonna come faster than you think lol. I need to order more seeds today too actually~ not sure what strain I want though this time.

Man the drama...can't we all just get along? Yeah we aren't all pros...who cares since we came here for the purpose of learning. I agree with the go research part of course but we aren't all the same... some of us want a lil more one on one insight. With regards to the nutes...if you want easy and affordable...MIRACLE GROW. Many will disagree with MG as a viable source but there are many who have been using it successfully and exclusively for decades swearing by it...PEACE! I'm going back to my Heiney before I sober up.
