Buds in 7th week almost 8 weeks flowering, Do they swell up more?

My first grow is going as I speak, I've posted before and I had no help from anyone, but now I'm almost ready to harvest (I think) But I've had some issues that I'd like some help with. So I've got 5 plants, 2 Green Love Potion, 2 Kerala x Skunk#1, and 1 Afghan Kush. All except the afghan are 8 weeks into flower. The Afghan I started 12/12 from seed and the buds have only been showing for around a week.
Last week though I ran into an issue, I didn't have a chance to check on my grow for a couple days, and 1 Kerala and 1 GLP just got fucked up, every single leaf was drooping badly, they looked dead, but I watered em and the next day they perked right up, they didn't fully recover but they definitely look a lot better.

The thing is, I don't know if it's affecting the production of the buds, or whats going on. I have decent crystal production on the GLP that got affected but the Kerala x Skunk (The Oldest Biggest Plant) Has no crystals but bigger buds, and it seems my buds aren't nearly as big as what I see other peoples. Here are some Pics for reference.

This is the Green Love Potion (This one hasn't had much stress in it's life, Best plant so far.)

This one looks completely different than the other GLP for some odd reason, and the buds are very tiny compared to its brother

And this is the Afghan, The baby. Very nice Crystal Production but not very big buds. Only has 2 Main Colas


So I guess my question is, Will my buds get bigger?
And have I done a decent job for my first grow?
The only negatives I have are the plants are around 4ft tall each, in 3 gallon pots, and they don't have a bunch of nice buds, just a lot of lower popcorn buds.

dont look half bad, ok for a first run for sure, best thing you can do is learn from your mistakes and do a even better job next time, but it do look like your getting a nice amount of some potent smoke, maybe just a oz or 3 less then if you had been able to keep your plant`s healthy and happy all the way trough flowering

they look good but they need another couple weeks. they pack on a lot more weight during the last weeks.

Were the Green Love Potion grown from clone, if not the two may be different phenotypes (non Identical Twins). Looks to me as though you have done a great job for your first grow and if mine comes out like yours I will be very happy! if you are unhappy with popcorn buds and tall plants maybe you should think about using a SCROG next time around and couple it with the lollipopping technique. How are the trichromes doing? you should wait until around 20% are amber to harvest to allow all trichs to go from clear to milky; clear ones have little to no THC milky ones are in there prime for THC and Amber ones are reaching there peak 20% Amber Trichs will allow for all trichromes throughout the buds to be milky, Trichromes are not the hairs you'll need a mini handheld microscope to check.

Looking good -- but don't harvest before they're ready or you'll be missing out both on weight and potency. Check the trichomes and follow the guidelines in the sticky in the Harvesting and Curing thread. Also, make sure you're committed to proper harvesting, drying and curing. That'll add another 6 weeks of work on to the growing experience. But the results are worth it

No I received freebies on a order from Herbies, and I decided to grow them first. It's GLP by Samsara Seeds. Thank you thought I mean they're not necessarily popcorn buds but they're small. Theres 4 main cola's on the 2 GLP's, and a lot of side branching on the bottom with buds here and there. Some are big, some small, etc. The only problem is I have no magnifying glass strong enough to see the crystals

Thank you! Oh believe me I've invest a lot of money into my first grow, around ~$1,100 I'm definitely gonna wait Could you suggest a good microscope to look at the trichs? I just have a handheld magnifying glass 5x and that definitely isn't enough sadly. I definitely want to cure it right as well, so I should probably start reading more about it. So they definitely don't look ready yet? Good I was worried cause I wasn't positive when I should cut, I was just going by what the seed company says on the label for flowering time lol

So you think I'm only going to get an ounce of dry bud??? Bummer, I'm in so deep with electricity and equipment costs. 600w HPS bulb, Window AC unit, 3 fans, and side flourescents Hoped i'd get at half pound with 6 plants, but I kinda knew that was a little unrealistic haha, but still whatever comes off the GLP and Afghan, I'm excited to try, it's frost as hell in person.

slipon said an ounce to 3 LESS than if they'd been healthy throughout I'd say your half pound target is still attainable man. I'm growing freebies for my first run to work the kinks out in my techniques and system too man, like I said earlier I hope my 2 turn out similar size to yours, bud wise, the other I have is an Auto so I'm not expecting it to be as full as the others.

You could also try bigger pots and use cloth or smart pots. If ur plants are 4 ft tall I'm pretty sure you could use bigger pots. More roots= more water and nutrient uptake. Are u using molasses( unsulphered)? A Tbs/gall. Every time ore every other time I use it every watering. Another thing that will help is the use of mycorrhizae (beneficial bacteria) and humic acid. Your shit looks great tho

for me and urs look bigger than mine but I've had heat and humidity issues during my entire flower
cycle also I effect for 15 days during weeks 3-5 and just had it sitting in water with an airstone bubbling. Also I had to switch out my 400 Watt for
only 1, 150 Watt and some cfl side lighting while I was on vacay now have a 150 on top and a 150 hanging vertically. So that's what's up if u want some good mycorrhizae go to

Suppose to say I left for 15 days not effect. Anyway I couldn't post pics. And ya you need one of those eyepieces bad that's really the only way to tell but I would wait also. And drying g and curring are crucial to having good smooth tasty stanky bud.
