What size fans?

likely yes, the only thing you want to watch is that your carbon filter matches up with how much air you move. moving too much air through too fast will negate the benefits pretty quick. I went with a can 2600 but I also have an air inlet that goes through an additional CF. so short story long, as long as your filtering matches the specs you're in like Flynn HIH

Thanks man, appreciated, so now I have the Tent, lights & fan situation (pretty much) sorted, I can now concentrate on figuring the filter sh^t out haha. Bit by bit, slowly slowly, rather not rush hehe.

Right, so, if I am buying a fan which I want to be double the speed but set at half, if I was originally looking at 4" 250CFM, would I now want something along the lines of 6" 450CFM? Or 500CFM or something? I gathered it would want roughly double the CFM.

If you buy a 6 inch fan that's for example 500cfm, then you would want a carbon filter that is also rated for 500 cfm, even if your running your fan at half speed. The rating on the filter is the MAximum amount of airflow it can handle and still filter properly, so you want one that matches the maximum cfm that your fan is capable of.

Do you think a 'Sunleaves' wind tunnel inline would be Ok, they are meant to be fairly quiet, and run at 409CFM. I can order a controller with it, where it says frequently bought together. A 500CFM CF would be OK wouldn't it

EDIT: But I don't think I will get the speed controller with it as it is apparently only useful with brush motors lol. I wonder what the safest controller would be to use hmmmmm

That doesn't look bad, but 69db seems pretty loud for my bedroom.

What about this... It is 33db 2 speed, so on low it would be quieter than that and also still push 405 m3/hr which is just over 238 CFM, at full almost 324 CFM (I think)​

Yeahh that would be fine, I did kind of gather I might need to be on full once it is attatched to the CF etc, is that the reason?

Decent. I will probably get the 8" then. It's a price I am willing to pay for a little better sleep and product hehe So I'll find myself a decent 600 CF to go with it then I should be good to start preparing it. Will take a few weeks to get the fan and CF sorted but is best to plan ahead. I can take my brain out of overdrive for a while haha. Thanks man you've been a real help! I salute you
