Auto flower roots?

I have my plant in a 1 gallon due to space issues and my root is growing out of the hole in the bottoms of the pot. Is there something I could put under the pot to help it thrive? More dirt, perlite maybe something like that? Any help or advice is appreciated

let it dry up and the root will air prune

Or, if you are too lazy to repot, you can drop that pot inside another, and let the roots grow, but they will not be as effective as roots in the original pot.

u can add dirt but the roots will out grow that as well. why dont u put it in a 5 gal container and just top it or train it. this will contain the growth but u
dont wanna limit the roots potential u know?

What happens if it air prunes? Does that mean it just dies off? And wouldn't transplanting it just stunt it even more since its an autoflower?

yes it would just dry up wont hurt it
air pots do same thing just on a larger scale
