First grow.

Hello everybody! This is my first attemt at growing medicinial marijuana.

The reason I'm posting is that I want some feedback on my plants, lots of tips etc. This is a indoor grow operation, rather stealthy.

Lights: 36w CFL's, 2200 lumen, 6500k (4) for vegetative state. Flowering: 25w 1900 lumen 2700k (4).

Grow medium: Simple plant soil from the supermarket.

Nutrition: None. (I'm simply scared to burn the root system.. I did just that with my tomatoes.)

Ventilation: Poor, I am working on it, got some fans running to move some air around, and I'm trying to get the plants out on the balcony every sunny day to give them some fresh air a couple of hours each day.

I'm also FIMMING the plants for better results. Is this the best way to go?

So what do you think? Is this good enough? I'm also thinking of upgrading my growing to 4-5 plants, but first I must equip with some better gear.

The bigger one is 1.5 weeks older, and I don't know the strain or sex yet. The small one is ak47 auto (16 days old)

When you feed you need to start small and build it up... Ex: my blooming nutes requite 7.5 teapoons per gallon of water... I start with half a teapoon per gallon and work up to that, took like 4 weeks... And dont consecutively feed like feed, water, feed, water.

fimming is okay but if you dont hit the cut right it wont fim... Maybe try topping your first time or just grow it straight. You may want to get through one or two plant grow from beginning to end before you take on multiple plants

that tall one may be showing sex ... Also how close are your lights?

they look good...why are some of the leaves snipped/cut?

are you mixing sunshine and CFL lights?

Ventilation is an important as your lights....do work on it

Well I cut them so the light can penetrate more easily.. No good? :O Yeah I do mix sunlight with cfl's, they seems to be happy :)

So far they look pretty good I would quit cutting the fan leaves you only do that when they are budding so more light can get to the bud site and that's only if you need to. They look very healthy nice thick stalk but they are going to be craving nutes as they probably have used up most everything in the soil by now.

Okay i will stop cutting the leaves. Thanks for the heads up! I do have some regular liquid nutrient for flowers. Is this something i can use for now?

I keep the lights 2-5 cm from the top
