Hello Rollitup,
I have read quite a few topics focusing around the arguments of whether flushing is extremely important for your finished products taste, to some saying that flushing is inadequate and never needed in a grow medium. I am however a strong supporter on the defense of flushing and its importance to a quality and fresh toke. Some people however I don't know if it's that they spend to much time getting high and not enough time educating themselves believe that a root structure of a plant and the nutrients and water it's being fed don't effect the taste of their medicine. That is just common sense. There are numerous things that build up in your medium that should be flushed out.
The roots are the beginning of the vascular system pipeline that moves water and minerals from the soil up to the leaves and buds. So by flushing the last three to five days with pure filtered water will remove any build up and feed your roots which in turn feed your buds with nutrient free water.
Smoke good and stay healthy, Ricky.
