Still learning myself, just going into second grow, so im just throwing this out there. I would assume the gnats and mold are from over watering plus the foil on the pot letting condensation build up.

i think you're over watering. Don't water anymore until the soil is dry. Take out that foil, you need the water to drain out the bottom otherwise your soil will mold or you'll get root rot. You're also giving those gnats a nice environment to lay their eggs and live from it being so damp always ^^; use some of those fly strips by your plant and the gnats will eventually go away.

And....you're nowhere near ready to go into flower lol. Honestly if I were you I'd do a lil more research and finish the test run with this grow before starting a seed you paid for.
Growing takes a lotta time and patience; slow down :P

I recommend Fox Farm Grow Big for veg, and then during flowering add fox farms big bloom and tiger bloom. At 1/2 strength. ^^ it's about $8 a bottle each where I live and they're good nutes for beginners. I also add Epsom salt and occasionally baking soda, but be careful because those nutes don't have any calcium in it, so you're goin to need to find a way to feed calcium too. (Which is my current problem) and woo! Exciting! They're gonna come faster than you think lol. I need to order more seeds today too actually~ not sure what strain I want though this time.
Big Bloom is a base nute, you use it for both veg and flower. You also use Grow Big during the start of flowering.

What size container are you using to hold your plant? Also, are you using a fan for air circulation?
it may be like a gallon and a half and no I do not have a fan on it but I do keep my air conditioning running all the time ,however the stem is getting really strong by just that

Ignorance is just lack of knowledge, I myself have done a lot of research / reading and then found this great site which helps to confirm your research info in a manner of speaking

Are you considering any management practices, such as LSTing or topping/pruning your plant? I'm just curious - I currently am germinating seeds for an indoor grow.

Yes it will definitely mess with the veg cycle to change lighting keep it on the 24 hrs of light you wont ruin the plant but it will take muuuucccch longer to grow stunting the veg cycle like that cause when you put it on a 12/12 cycle your forcing the plant to flower n by doing that it stops vegging n growth then when you put it back on 24 it has to revert back to vegging basically slowing the overall growth keep it on 24 hrs of light for about 6wks or til its 18-24in tall n that is an indica so it will be beefy as you say as all hell very bushy after its about 18-24in then.put it on a 12/12 cycle n your gonna wanna make sure the 12hrs of dark is completely dark no light at all or it'll slow n mess with the flower cycle cover it to keep it totally dark or put it in a closet. Good luck welcome to the club its alot of fun n the best rewards in the world smoke you grew yourself

If you can't even be bothered to read basic infomation (which is allready available on this forum), and instead post idiotic crap like this ^ then I have no interest in helping you. Enjoy your hermies ;)
Right because from what ive read on here no one is ever 100% sure on a diagnoses. There have always been two totally diff answers to a problem. Lol yku mist be mad BRO.
