good news and bad news, bad news first.

this is what was left of my garden when i returned from holiday.

good news is i think i can save these bp babies, they will be getting flowered a lot sooner as a result of me having no plants in the flower room.

lesson today is: don't go away on holiday, especially for two weeks

i can't help but laugh it off.

another good review, nice one sb. like i said the positive of my fucked up crop is that i will be smoking some BP earlier than i would have, it's nice to grow something new, all i have at the minute is space bomb and cheese, my last crop of deep blue is out soon so i need some more flavours because cheese gets boring to me.

it looks like all 20 of my blue pit plants will make it, i plan to put them in 3.5l pots and then next week i can take the top off every one to keep as a potential mum, maybe i'll keep more than one seeing as i have a lack of strains, i might even start another dog run i swear i still have the pips somewhere.

Yeah g I'm like that I like my fruity colourful weed. Cheese is nice don't get me wrong but I get a bit sick of it, seems like that's all people grow. I say that but I'm running exo lol, never ran it before jus big Buddha cheese and I'm actually looking forward to tasting it :) got a sample of dog aswell with the pit and its equally as beautiful lol

i could get tired of anything if i did it for ten + years lol.

looks like she's finally flowering, looks quite sativa too but i just think that is to do with it being in a n outdoor environment

i saw a dog in spain that had the same markings, he had his ears removed to "prevent skin cancer" where your dog looks cute and friendly this one looked like he wanted to eat you. he will make a good guard dog soon.

Sucks about your dead plants...I have had the same thing happen on an outdoor grow. Sucks but life goes on.

How does one go about getting any of these genetics? Like the dog or blue pit? I would love to get some of that growin!

that's where i got them, they ship pretty much world wide.

they also have lots of other exclusive strains to try, i've grown the cheese surprise, engineers dream, deep blue, dog and the freebie casey jones they sent me.

this is the 6th strain i've grown from them and it won't be the last, only question is what do i pick next?

I want the entire bb selection so I don't have to choose!

Man that's a sad sight, but I guess you knew it was coming eh? No water for 2weeks would do it to just about anything alive. Iv been on a lil trip actually and this just made me a bit concerned about my ladies.

to be honest whodat i didn't expect it, when i walked in the room i expected to see nice big healthy bushes but i got quite a shock.

long story short is my friend didn't give them enough water.
he has done a few small grows before and had varying success, i assumed he would be ok to water them but we know what they say about assumption.

i would never leave plants unsupervised for 2 weeks ever, even on a fully automated system.

i'm more mad with myself than i am with him, it's a good job too because he doesn't seem very sorry.

i stayed away 3 days longer than i was supposed to, i was supposed to come back monday but it was thursday, i phoned him monday to tell him so he said he went on the tuesday and every thing was ok, healthy and green.

i saw him thursday night and got the keys back, he told me how he had watered all the big plants and only watered a few of the bp babies because they didn't all need a drink. i don't know why but it kind of rang some alarm bells when he said it, i stayed at his and had a smoke as i couldn't be arsed going to check the crop, i thought it will be fine til tomorrow. i'm actually glad i never went round on the thursday night because not all of them would have been completely gone which would have meant i had to look after 10 or so shitty plants for another 5-6 weeks which is only ever an uphill battle, plus i hate having shit weed around.

that is what i saw when i rolled up friday, utter devastation.

so that means in 3 days tue- fri the plants drank all the water then drooped, then went crispy/dead!. i find it hard to believe but i don't see why my friend would lie by saying that when he checked they weren't even drooping or light. he hadn't used all the mix i left for 10 days over a 13 day period, another thing puzzling me.

just had to get that off my chest, glad i did. like i said, i'm mad at myself more than i am with my buddy, i didn't give him very clear instructions when i left and i should have been more on the ball. i have learned a lesson, sadly it's one i already knew though.
