Hello I was wondering if you Guys can help me out. I have a autpflowering plant 10 weeks currently(site said it would be done by 10) lately pretty much every fan Leave has fallen is this normal? It's a pretty cheap closet grow(legal) with a desk lamp and small space however I feel like the growth has stalled. I use only water and a desk lamp I think 60 watt. And since my baby was born I had to spend a few nights at the hospital so the plant lately must have been a little confused as some days it would get 12 Hours light and some days maybe none but this onl lasted for a few days. I changed the light to 12/12 so it can trigger a effect and I worked but since then it has stalled I have a pic to for any suggestions thanks.

Not normal, desktop lamps probably won't give much lumens or in a desirable spectrum for the plant, thus you see your plant stretching out like it is, constantly reaching for light. Autoflowers do not need 12/12 to flower, they will flower on 24 hours light, based on maturity of plant (time elapsed since seedling sprout), not by photoperiod (light schedule). Some describe them as skipping veg all together and entering flowering stage from seedling state, so light schedule is already not as important to entering flowering stage, as long as your giving it enough light during the day to continue healthy photosynthesis.

You might want to do a bit of reading, best option for you would probably be get some CFLS, but i dont know how realistic that plant is to save or produce any buds. I've never grown an auto myself yet, but she does look a bit lengthy, and leaves are browning/curling. What pH of water source, and after certain amount of time you'll need nutes or the plant will start using the nutrients stored, resulting in leaves yellowing, dieing off ect due to deficient uptake of nutrients from medium (soil ect).

Some water can be too high of a pH, like my tap water is 8.0 so I had to use vinegar to bring it to 6.3-6.5 range. I would say your pH isn't probably too horrible considering how it has lived 10 weeks, but I would think mainly she needs light, and needs food. Still on my first flowering stage here with photoperiod so my opinion is just subjective and slightly in-experienced compared to some of the other possible contributors to the thread.

I've done some research but as you can see its a real budget grow I wanted to try nutes but I hear autos don't respond we'll with nutes tho. I wouldn't mind changing the light back to 12/12 but im tryna be slick about this... And I feel If I change it now its just gonna stress more cause honesty I just want it to be done already lol

You plant will not harvest much without some form of food, be it organic microbes providing nutrient breakdown or synthetic bottled nutrients diluted with water in correct pH for plant. If you don't plan on feeding any food or switching to CFL lights, I wouldn't expect it to do much more then it has now, don't know if she will really produce much nugs under a desk lamp. Not sure how much of that light is useable for the veg stage of a plant, it might not be enough light even at 1 inch away, just because of the spectrum.

Doesn't matter if its auto or photo, will need veg light spectrum. 2200k and 5500k spectrum CFLs, 5500k will be more blue light spectrum for veg, 2200k more in red spectrum. A plant uses blue spectrum light the white day light out at the end of spring, and the light spectrum of the sun changes hue as harvest gets closer with more red spectrum in the light being provided to the plant. This is why in photoperiod plants, non autos; you will see people use metal hallide or florescent for vegging, and HPS for flowering as its different spectrum.

Desktop lamp is probably incandescent, not much buds going to come from it I assume.

That plants is craving more light and nutrients. It is so stretched out because it is not enough light and too far away. Iblazetoomuch is right except that you want 6500k for veg and 2700k for flower not 5500 and 2200. And it isn't recommended that you do less that an 18/6 light cycle with autos at any point when growing indoors. 20/4 is ideal.

Sorry bud but that plant is pretty pathetic. You are going to have get some better lights and try again.

light schedule really doesnt matter for bud production its the intensity and cfl's need to be close 4-6 inches away
take it as a loss buddy
i doubt you yield anything from this plant to be honest
use a smaller container party cup or big gulp from the corner store
keep your light closer from day 1
optimally you need 100w a plant but in a small container you could get away with 50 or 75 well used watts
try again and do a bit of research before you plant anything

LOL!!!!!! All this advice for a plant grown with a single 60 watt ol' fashioned light bulb. Um, helloooooo? Do you all not see this as a paramount problem?

My autos: https://www.rollitup.org/auto-flowering-strains/709456-auto-blue-pyramid.html

I pulled a good 1.75oz off one auto flower and 1oz dry off my retard one. I started them off with 6 60w equivalent cfls for 3 weeks keeping about 3inches away, then moved them under a 600w hps for 3 more weeks. I ran a 20/4 cycle, then switched to outside(started my grow in my current grow that's listed in my signature).

I definitely used nutes, but would suggest this soil recipe, scale down if need be:

8- Large bags of High quality Organic potting soil with a coco and Mycorrhizae

1- 25-50 pounds of Organic Worm castings
5 lb. Steamed Bone meal
5 lb. Bloom bat Guano (I couldn't find, probsbly something high in nitrogen would work here)
5 lb. Blood meal
3 lb. Rock Phoshate

Is that a beanstalk? Is there a giant ogre at the top of it? Is that what you do with an autoflower, plop it in some dirt, put it in the corner and put a light bulb at the top of the room? I'll have to try that.

Sorry, but you need to open your browser, type www.gooogle.com, search for "how to grow cannabis".

You have the plant in some sort of soil, but that's pretty much the only thing you got right. You need to read, a lot.
