Oh, I see. I didn't know that, so thanks for sharing! I'll start them out in smaller pots next time.Nice bushy plant but you are wasting time in that big pot. When seedlings first go into dirt they expend most of their energy developing a root system to support the plant. Only after the roots reach the insides of the pot will you see rapid (1+ inches a day) vegetative growth. Next time put the new seedling into a solo cup or 4 inch mini-pot for a week or so. The plant will soon fill the cup with roots and stat vegging much earlier. I go from a solo cup to a 7 inch pot to a 3 gallon pot. Plus your plant is an auto. Means it will only be alive 8 weeks or so. Your plant will end up now with more roots than needed for support and time wasted for you. Good luck, BigSteve.
