Republican/Tea Party/ Conservative spokesman Mr. Beck recently sent an inter-office email stating that anyone using a fluorescent bulb would be fired. He stated that it was part of a "Communist and Socialist" plot to promote the false idea of global warming. Why is it that so many Republicans buy into his shit. Why?. I really don't want to be troll like, but it seems that all the "conservative" spokespeople, pick one any one,(Hannity, O'Reilly, Carlson, Kelly) live in a parallel universe that is not based on any reality at all. Then the Republicans wonder what the can do to improve their political standing. Nothing really, as they just have too many fools as their spokespeople, it seems.

And fuck flourescent bulbs. They make you sick. They are 1000 times worse than incan in a land fill. You have to call the fucking hazmat team if you break one. They take 10x the amount of energy to create. And the light they produce sucks.

A rich person can build a 20 bathroom mansion but the average guy cant buy a toilet that flushes more than 1.5 gallons of water.

The federal government mandates how much water can flow out of a shower head but again, you can build a 20 bathroom mansion or put 12 shower heads in one bathroom if you choose. Or you can install 12 acres of grass and water it and that is ok.

It is the complete arbitrary nature of the rules the government implements that actually have the largest impact on poor and middle class people and yet you champion them...

hmm i didnt hear that. But I stock piled anyway. Im kind of a prepper. drives my wife nuts. Ill see if theres anything new and exciting at casa de pot next time im there.
Ive actually switched to LED for my can lights in the ceiling. They are dimmable, instant on and the flickering doesnt make you want to kill yourself. The color is better than flouro as well.
damn things are expensive as hell though. but supposedly last forever. I have some weird power and i was blowing bulbs regularly but havent had a blowout since i switched to led.
