That sucks.. we have always had to have both front and rear plates here though..I shed a few tears today as I drilled holes in my Mercedes' virgin front air dam to install a license plate bracket. New law took effect today.
Me either dro.. just saw the pix and thought it was too sweet not to post it..GT street RS? never heard of that model before but looks damn good!
The funny thing is I usually make fun of cars with big ass wings on them, but for some reason think the whale tail on Porsches looks awesome for the most part..GT street RS? never heard of that model before but looks damn good!
i normally dont like the riveted look but love it on those kits for that car.Yeah I even like the riveted look.. adds something I dig..
i like functional wings on cars like those but some of them are just ehhh lolThe funny thing is I usually make fun of cars with big ass wings on them, but for some reason think the whale tail on Porsches looks awesome for the most part..
And love the wings that only come out at certain speeds...
Will have to say I love the wing on the veyron.. its even used for a air brake..
I agree, I usually really dislike wings like that that aren't 100% functional but they looks fucking great. I want a black 964 Targa. God are those things sexy! The funny thing is I usually make fun of cars with big ass wings on them, but for some reason think the whale tail on Porsches looks awesome for the most part..

Ive always had a soft spot for Porsches.. growing up I was a huge fan of the 911, then the 930 turbos..I agree, I usually really dislike wings like that that aren't 100% functional but they looks fucking great. I want a black 964 Targa. God are those things sexy!
I love that a 911 is still visually a 911.Ive always had a soft spot for Porsches.. growing up I was a huge fan of the 911, then the 930 turbos..
The thing I love about Porsche is a Porsche still looks like a Porsche .. naturally they have changed some over the years, but over all they've not strayed too far from that classic design.. even my mom can see a Porsche and know it's a Porsche , lol..
well, i'd think any car with most of the weight over the drive axle is going to tend to went to over steer a bit, but that's also what makes them fun to drive, lol.. i never have, but wish so..I love that a 911 is still visually a 911.
A friend had a 930, that thing could get kinda scary. Even the naturally aspirated 911s prior to the mid 80s could have some terrifying over steer, all that extra power makes it really easy to end up going backwards through the hedges. Once they got that sorted they were some of the easiest high end sports cars to really drive well.
That is the issue and I've got to say having driven some from the late 90s they really did some amazing things with the balance. It really feels much closer to the stability of a mid engined car.well, i'd think any car with most of the weight over the drive axle is going to tend to went to over steer a bit, but that's also what makes them fun to drive, lol.. i never have, but wish so..
i'd love to pick up a used 911 / 930 turbo from the 80's.. you can get a pretty low mileage porsche for not an arm and a leg today..
how are the older porsches for up keep costs mre?? i'm not thinking they'd be too crazy, not like say an italian car, no matter which make..That is the issue and I've got to say having driven some from the late 90s they really did some amazing things with the balance. I've come close to doing that one more than one occasion when I've had extra money. Unfortunately while they can be had for a decent price they still cost an arm and a leg to insure
I love the way you can have the open top experience with the targa without totally losing structural stability.
Should I ever find myself facing death from a terminal illness with no hope of recovery when my quality of life starts to go I want to go out to Germany and rent a Ferrari and do laps at the ring until I'm about to run out of gas and keep the throttle pegged at the end of the straight.imagine being behind the wheel of this thing and seeing nothing but the nordshleife in front of you??
Not for me. As a general rule I prefer smaller lighter cars with smaller engines and I greatly prefer mid engined cars and that was the case when I drove a 550 and a 355 back to back. Yeah the 550 has a little edge in a drag race but if you're only going in a straight line why buy a Ferrari? The MR V8s shit on the FR V12s on most tracks.tough choice between that 599 and this 458 gt..
