Exactly...better than pissing everybody else off around you with the middle finger...you would want your neighbors to support you wouldn't you? flipping the finger at anybody pisses them off plus it's really childish, vulgar, and just plain stupid. But, ultimately we're all entitled to our opinions. In any case I would be ecstatic about the legalization of pot and would certainly THANK the "powers that be" for making it happen....remember, those who have the power to give you something also have the power to take it away from you!

Oh, I did read the entire thread and have no qualms about anything you say. I do, however, find flipping people off to be childish and a poor way of expressing ones self. It is also, arguably, a really good way to universally piss people off. If one wishes to make a point there are certainly far better means of doing so.

I also don't think that there will be any problem for personal growers such as ourselves to grow whatever we need for personal use...there's no restrictions on growing your own tobacco or hops so why would they make such restrictions with cannabis? Big money will always make big money and so what? As long as we can grow what we want then they can make all the money they want to.

I also agree with you that folks should get off their asses and vote...one way or the other...that's how things get done (or undone) here in the USA...

FYI: I am very excited about this development.
Just keep in mind, this is a memo of guidelines by the Obama administration to federal prosecutors. The next elected administration could decide differently and change these guidelines allowing federal prosecutors to bust dispensaries in Colorado and Washington.

Okay, I haven't read these posts, but I'm sure they're talking about attorney Holden's statement from the justice department, where they basically said they are gonna leave states alone, IF they as states decide to male it legal. Washington and Colorado are the only ones so far. They aren't saying its gonna be legal all over the country based off of this decision.
