So, we could wipe this planet from space. The only thing stopping that is international convention.

It's a rare thing these days... Gone are the days of true investigative journalism, while you can still find reporters/journalists that follow real stories they're few and far between... The other issue is with a sinking news print sector, some places just don't want to spend the cash sending people in search of stories...
