That molasses stuff is awesome

well.. it worked out for us... we did some research about it and it seems to be proven that works.. Farmers use the stuff, not just marijuana growers..
Molasses feeds the microbes living in your soil to create a healthier, more suitable growing environment - which makes it easier for your plants to fight off disease and absorb the nutrients they need. Molasses is also packed with sulfur, potash, iron and B vitamins. So I guess molasses along with nuts should be great. The increased soil life drive the bugs away too.
sure thing marijuana is just a plant and it shouldn't be complicated to take care of, but if the stuff is good and obviously improves your grow then why not?
keep in mind... not everyone has the luxury of being able to grow like that outdoors and get the benefits of the sunlight. so I am just trying to help my plant on her journey to get me high.

i don't see how sunlight has anything to do with molasses. you seem to be looking for a "super-pill". there is no such thing. only good genetics and a healthy environment.

I use the molasses on waterings that I do inbetween feeding. So the molasses goes by itself...............

Hey fdd i noticed that you use professional growers 100% nitrogen lol and Californian sunlight for your outdoor grows.
Do you really disagree that molasses wont help to fatten your buds for indoor grows with basic nutes and low levels of light,in comparison to real sunlight anyway?

i think the only way to truly find out is to grow 2 cuttings from the same plant side by side. giving 1 molasses and the other not. do this then i will make an educated decision.:blsmoke:

everything else is hear-say. just makes people run around in circles. :-|

I understand the skepticism that surrounds any special, new or expensive feeds, and i agree with your suggestion about growing side by side to be sure.
All though i have no side by side pics for you at this time i will do on my next grow.

I really believe that molasses has helped my plants and i am sure that the leaves are thicker and the stems are thicker and stronger, but as you said i don't have any real world proof of this.
I also want to try one plant using only fructose and tomato food on the next grow.

I just went out and bought a 7meg pixel 10x optical zoom camera as i am selling one of my keyboards so i will finally be able to provide some decent detailed pics,as i also believe that molasses increases resin production and sweetness of the end product.:blsmoke:

i heard one guy saying he used sugar cane juice diluted with 4 parts water said is better than mollasses as mollasses is made out of the sugar cane.

one advantage to honey is that it produces small amounts of h2o2 when exposed to water and h2o2 breaks down into oxygen and water when it gets in your soil.
isnt h2o2 hydrogen peroxide?? if so youd think that it wouldnt be too good for your micro organisms in your soil.. maybe its such a minute amount that it wouldnt do anything?? :-?

Fattens the ol' buderoos right up.

...I wouldnt use honey. As honey is a totaly different product ... I dont think honey has the same attributes.
Honey is an anti-bacterial so I'm not sure how that would affect the plant or the stuff living in the soil.

Yep, works great as a purfume too.

FYI: Urine contains urea which is full of nitrogen and can burn roots.
