Did I just blow my load over all my ladies?

So I have 5 females one male. The male was left with one head to produce pollen and was covered with a stocking a few days ago. Yesterday I took the stocking off because the only head was getting too tall. I saw one or two of the pollen sacks had split already when I took off the stocking.

So thats it? I've seeded everything?

one or 2 pods opening wont ruin your crop, you should be okay

...BUT suppose one or 2 buds actually got hit by the pollen, you dont even know if the pollen took yet.

Sometimes pollinating is 'swing-and-a-miss', and Sometimes even if the Pods split, the pollen inside the pods may be 'Inactive'.
And it's likely that since these are the first 2 pods to open, they may very well contain 'Inactive' pollen

I would advise you to find a separate area for the male...are you out of space? whats stopping you?

Thank you for the great reply and very informative. I am glad to hear that they may have been blanks so to speak. How long does it take for pollination to be noticable? How to distinguish from normal development?

I don't have the space unfortunatly no.. Light contamination is an issue. Plus I am making fem seeds with colloidal silver also and that would be another plant I'd have to keep seperate under a seperate lighting schedule so I just put a 15 denere stocking over the heads that contains pods. Has anyone tried this before?

Im thinking another week or so and then I can take the male out and take the stocking off carefully in another temporary room, and put the stocking back on (with the pollen) a female branch. I guess a few days would be enough to ensure pollination of the branch also? By then the CS branch should hopefully be maturing and I can avoid cross contamination of the regular and female pollen.
