I respectfully disagree. People who sell cannabis and price gauge is a different story but those who make a living selling quality cannabis for fair prices I respect a great deal. Nothing is free and everyone has to eat. These people risk their freedom, personal safety, put hard work and time into their product, and often invest large amounts of money on gear, water, electricity, nutrients ect. Nothing wrong in my book with asking 2000-$2,500 a unit of A+. Somebody is going to make money off of it whether it is the government, grower, dispensary owner, middle man, ect. If you are able to afford to grow and supply friends/family for free I respect that a lot. In a perfect world there would be enough heady nugs to supply the masses of ganja smokers but realistically speaking that is unlikely to ever happen.

Tell him you have something cool to show him, in the basement. And then, once he's fallen down the hole, you hose him off weekly, and tell him "It puts the lotion on it's skin, or it gets the hose again!"

I just had this conversation with my "bud" and in the exact same situation as you, lives a couple of doors away and I've known him for years, he knows I'm growing and he was bummed when I told him. What's his response to me "It's sucks, you not needing me for a bit but it's going to be cool to smoke everyone's crop, so many people growing it's going to be great, sampling all the different types."

Besides I wasn't the only one he's supplying so my little amount basically covered his cigarette money lol.

I had the same problem, I had been using same guy for about six years and we had become mates.
I ended up telling him I had set up a mini grow for personal as a way to save cash.

after he sampled some of mine the tables turned haha.

Yeah I know the dude well and have for years. We will see each other because of our circle of friends and I doubt something like weed would become an issue. Its not like my man was ripping me off, just don't wanna buy it anymore but I know he will be like hey why dont ya call me anymore, bro, wtf?. I don't really want the dude to know I grow my own and I surely don't want to sell my hard earned shit either. I guess I will hafta say I got to quit for awhile due to random urine tests at work or something....but I would smoke a fatty with the guy without all the skippin & holding hands part but then he would likely ask hey bro whats this? mmm tastes good and fresh where'd ya get it?. I told him awhile ago i knew some other dude and that was true at the time so maybe if I just don't call for awhile he will think I was getting a better deal elsewhere. What I know will happen is that eventually he will ask what kind of deals I am getting for obvious reasons. A wise man told me once.. Everybody got-ta do they hustle to get they shit they own way...and by any means necessary. We do our hustle so we can get some fresh decent bud for a small investment over a long term effort whereas my regular dude's hustle is trying to get shit cheaper so he can hork more primo bud to perpetuate his own heady nug stash...not like dude makes a fuck-ton of dough just selling to freinds/family...oh and I would tell him my Dad gave me some homegrown if he didnt know he was not recently deceased...good one though thanks

Buy it and sell it to someone else for a few cycles if you have to.

True I dont owe nobody shit and I dont care about "feelings." When I see the dude at festivals and such with other freinds he will ask me why I dont call anymore...I'm just trying not to reveal my grow, thats it. Dude could probably care less either but he will think he did something to piss me off I bet, like he gave me a shitty bag last time or something....Its unavoidable I will need to provide a semi-believable lie...there are a few gems to choose from so far I see

i haven't see so many "feelings" in a thread about breaking up with your gf/wife here..glad to know there is a sensitive side to you guys, afterall:hug: ROFL..i'm with WBW..here in the states, client base is ALWAYS fluid even with relationship..it's just business..imo

Well it happened just as I thought. Dude stopped over & I told him I'm good I gotta quit for awhile. He said "...bullshit! It smell like you got some super dank shit that u just smoked up in this bitch" he was correct of course. I shared some of my Pineapple Express crowned with a thin slice of freshly cured bubble hash & he seemed impressed. He didn't ask many questions but quickly figured out where it came from. At least I got enough dirt on him as collateral to buy his silence. He told me its a good thing I got my own source now because the reason he stopped was to tell me he was moving out of town.
