Good stuff Hemlock. I'm really interested in what you guys are doing at the Boutique.
That said, I'd like to ask your opinion on a few strains, those being Qrazy Quake, Deep Psychosis, DOG and the Casey Jones S1 freebies. The first 2 are the strains that most interested me when I placed my initial order.

the other 6 seedlings already have leaves now, and it has been in hold just under the surface. Cracked and germinated and started heading for the light and stopped.

That's a good question. I hadn't really thought out what I'm actually curious about, being so new to growing cannabis I'm still finding myself getting a bit of information overload.
Here's a couple things.
What kind of phenotype variation should one expect and are there any particularly special phenos to keep an eye out for? I ask that knowing full well that "special" is a pretty subjective term and often in the eye of the beholder, but thoughts/opinions are welcomed.
Are the plants generally heavy or light feeders? And do you feel they are particularly greedy/sensitive to any particular macro/micro nutrients?
That's all I can think of at the moment.

Well, she's pretty much two pheno's, shorter one is more berry and musky flavours from the querkle and cheese side. the larger one is the pic on the site, really colourful, a medium feeder and tastes like pink grapefruit, citrusy goodness. Grows a nice fat main cola, good for SOG.

Well heres the deal Mate. Chixie and Bisquit are loving the new food they been getting seems to have really turned Chixie around, no stomach trouble anymore. As far as the farm girls I'm running some old and new strains. Got Vortex x Sensi Star, Sensi Star, Pineapple express, Vortex x Sputnik, And today I'm popping Bodhi Dream Lotus x Tangerine Dream and Bodhi's Dream Lotus x Liberty Haze. Also Have G-13 and Lemon Haze. Loving your pic

OK take down yesterday first 10 pic or so are Don Gin And Tons Purple Sensi Star x 2 Toke. I has really nice purple in it...Then you will see a plant with lots of large single leaves this is Jedi Kush very unique to me but will NOT make the cut in my garden Stems are to weak, and she is a low yielder. For me its about production and ease of growing and stems. Larger the stem the more she takes up. remember the stem is the feeding tube. and stoneyness, how high does it get you. How much does it yield if you can't give me 2 oz a plant in 6 gallons of ProMix HP then you are OUT. Now I will keep a light or two of strains that are just fuking off the hook but not what I want to grow for production, like say Chocholope Kush, fukin BITCH plant, gets way to tall couldn't give you 2 oz per plant if it wanted to but its some tastie dope so I keep it but I don't breed with it.When you are judging which plants/strains to keep/cull what are your general things you look for in keepers? reason I ask is i am gonna have to weed some strains out, wondering if you have any advice on it

Thanks for the info my friend. One last question for you, well for now anyways LOL. I was reading on the BB website on the black SS and noticed it said you have kept the same mother plant for several years. How big is that plant! I am planning on keeping all the BB seeds I have going as mothers, and just flower the clones, but didn't really realize you could keep a mother that many years. What size pot do you use, any training? I would love to hear the details you use to keep your mothers so long and to keep them healthy and able to produce the best possible clones.

I am planning my first fully organic BIG ASS TUB grow a la Hemlock style, SO ill be making an order of some Sour Cherry, id LOVE to get a scrog full of thse red beautiful buds!

Well I use 6-10 gallon pot for my mothers and I use Promix HP. I don't feed them much at all. All I use is CalMag and GH 3 part Brown 5-0-1 it also has all the micros elements you need. I feed at say 4 oz of brown and 4 oz of calmag for 40 gallons of water so really weak. I will top dress the with some 8-4-4 bat guano say once a month if that. Main diet is just water. I keep a mother few years but I will change her out if a clone of hers is really strong. So the Sensi Star mother you read about its her but a clone of her, which is a exact replica of the mother. So that's how ya do it....Have a good one PP
