So here we go again. The box is revamped, new light setup to get them parallel rather than pointing downwards, giving me a little more room to move in there. I've also sorted out a lot of the light leaks. My girl's been soaking in a shotglass over night, and is now in a tiny pot of soil covered with clingfilm to keep a little moisture in.

Planning on doing a 2-3 weeks of veg this time around, and also starting the seed over on one side of my tray, so I can LST her along the length.

Last grow pulled in a smidge under 1oz... This one I'm hoping to drag down 2oz to see me through those dark winter nights.

Will throw up some photos later, just thought I'd get the ball rolling with my second grow diary.

Shoulda mentioned. Same strain as before. Sensi Seeds 'Shiva Skunk'. It performed pretty well, and it's feminised, which takes out a lot of the bother for me.

wow, 2oz from a PC grow? more power to you, and don't listen to the haters that say you can't do it. totally doable.

Nothing to report yet. Still a tiny pot of soil, sat in my window, nothing appearing above ground yet.
@reku - results are a while off, tho hoping that everything will fall into place for the festive hols.
@chib - no mate, i think it impacted my final yield last time, so this time 'round i'mna veg for a couple weeks, until she's filled out a good bit of the room.
@emannn - yeh, some would say extreme, other's would prolly say overly optimistic. but that's my aim, i did so much wrong last time 'round, i'm pretty confident that if I toe the line and take care of her, rather than excessive trimming, pinching buds early, 12/12from seed... i could push up the weight.
@wdk - nice to have you aboard mate, let's hope it's a goodun.
@thunderrod - yes mate, i like your style. positive thinking produces positive results.

Have been meaning to get some fresh pics of the box up, but have been inadvertently busy this week, so will sort it asap.

hey mewk, I have no doubt it can be done and with ur green fingers the world record is there for the taking ;-), if I may make a couple of suggestions, u could maybe veg for 4 or 5 weeks, I think 2 to 3 weeks wouldn't be enough, with the right training u could still easily limit the height and I know I topped in my pc grow but now I feel fimming would be better, if u fim @ the 3 week mark and veg for 2 more weeks I reckon u will get more colas, good luck m8 and happy growing :-) oh and I`ll be fimmimg mine tonight, well 3 of them anyway :-)

Okay, so she popped her head above ground yesterday. Today I checked on her and one of the cats had knocked her little pot over onto it's side. So, I figured she'll be safer inside the case. So I've repotted her into the big tray and whacked the lights on 20/4.

Here's a couple of pics. Not much has visibly changed from the last grow. There has been a ton of silicon sealant thrown all over the place, to try and reduce as much light leakage as possible. The other major change is that the lights are all now horizontal, rather than vertical. I managed to do this by picking up some small ceramic light fixings offa ebay, hotglueing them to a piece of hardboard, then screwing them down for extra security.

Here's how things're lookin.

Hehe I did wonder if someone'd analyse my photo. They're not buffy books. Just a set of ripped dvd's I've had for years upon years. I still stand by buffy, it was good TV. Yet to finish the last two seasons, so no spoilers please ;-)

All looks good today. She seems perky under the lights. Still need a touch more light proofing on the box, but nothin major.

You already know its going to be a good grow. I'm rooting for you to make 2ozs. I think I may start one soon in my pc since clones never took. I have a fem'd sensi star seed I may use.

Hey Mewk, I'm subbed and rooting for 2oz this time! (no pressure no pressure ... ;)

Are you using a different container this time? It looks longer than the one in ur first grow?

keep up the good work man, I for one was inspired by your and Notmycupoftea's grows in a PC case!

@bb61 - yeh mate, go for it. it's such a hassle-free way of growing. plus it's a lot less hassle to convince the other half that it's a good idea. :P
@emannn - done and done. well, silver duck tape doubled over and hotglued around the edges to make a kinda curtain over the lightleaks. just finished doing it, tried it, and there's still some light coming through where the fan's attached as I attached it with white zipties, so the light's bleading through them. don't think it's a prob tho, lookin much better than it was.
@usethename - nope, same box dude.. a few changes here n there, the light system's been rejigged, the lightproofing's been gone over. the plant's lifted a lot higher than last time round too, but she'll drop down as time goes by.

thanks for the kind words all of ya... 2oz... yeh, well, it seems the pressure is on now :) but that's good, a challenge is what I need to keep me from pinching young buds for a quick smoke or trimming too many fan leaves.

looks nice dude ! you might need more exhaust for flowering though.. hows your temps?
