Is 150 watt enough?

So here's the deal? I have a small op (2 plants) set up in my closet. I have only a 150 watt hps on plants 1 mont into veg, and my question is eventually I think ill need something slightly bigger, is it worth it to buy it now and if so in a closet I think it will put heat stress on them so would I need to ventilate. There is no vent in the closet so how would i vent it? Or would u stay with the 150 watt? Any ideas??image.jpg

Toss in 4-5 blue (6500k) CFL's around the sides and see how far that can get you.. I've pulled a QP easy in a 18x24 inch space using 150 watt HPS and some extra CFLS around the sides..

How long do you plan on vegging the 2 plants? You may have to at least get some cfl's for side lighting, if money isn't an issue than get you maybe a 400w because your gonna need some penetration once you go into flower, thats if you vegg longer that a month 1/2 or more. You also should take into consideration how much your trying to harvest in your final product , if your not worried about getting too much in terms of yield than 150w should get the job done but remember you have to count for that stretch. If your trying to get a bountiful harvest then more light will definitely be needed. Do you have any fans for your closet? and also what are the dimensions are you working with?

Are you doing LST? and ya I would add a little more light. how big is your space? and how far away is your hps from it?

Workin with about 4 feet wide 2.5 deep and about 4 or 5 tall. One fan oscillating but no vent. Not sure if I even need it. I would like to get as close to a half pound as possible of these two lovely ladies! Will 150 have enough umph in it?

If your gonna try and get a half of pound lol your gonna need a better light and definitely some sort of ventilation. Im hoping to get an Oz of of my 1 plant just because im a noob :)

CFL or LED are the best for closed in spaces where heat is a problem. If a fan and ducting setup is not an option u might try using a computer fan and some strategically placed holes in the wall to get air in

Im underlighting it im sure lol, and cutting fan leaves was a big mistake, I know better now :) I got 138 watts total of direct cfls and 92 watts of cfls close by but not close enough to really effect this plant maybe a bit but not much there over another plant about 8 inches away from this one. A total of 6 23 watt cfls on this one. Its my first grow and i definitly know there are alot of changes to be mad next grow. This is also bagseed and I will be bumping to actual named strains photo and autos.
