So guys, how are the KQxBH coming along?

I think I have my issues sorted out, the KQxBH came through with less damage/stress than the Cheeseberry, in fact they're looking pretty nice. All in all, ended up with a standard 50/50 male to female ratio on the KQxBH the fifth seed, if you recall, was a runt that I killed.

Things are moving along here, both females are currently flowering, have been for about a week or so. Not much in the way of bud development, but I'm sure they'll start taking off in the next few weeks. I'll try and get some pics up of the developing buds now that I've figured out how to use my camera a little bit more.

joe ...i got all five plants running..in flowering..12 days of flowering...i think i have 4 females...the runt is comeing along ..not sexed yet...i have 3 comfirmed ko kush MALES....2 are very early...keepers... one late...which i will chop ..prolly today.. ...I may nee KQ x BH pollen if the runt doesnt become a male!! ..or its gonna be K.O.Kush F4(2 early males) x KQxBH ....will make for a killer F1 hyb for sure...

Sounds like you're moving right along. Careful with those KQxBH, they'll trick ya. Would be killer if you had all ladies.

I hope you get that male you want for your breeding. I had a really nice male, I just realized that I'm nowhere near ready to be making seeds, just need to focus on getting to harvest.

Before topping and cuttings and a proper clean upbottom left got topped by a fan... upper right is the ko kush f4 males....the one not showing flowers in this pic will be gone .....as of next pics. 3 sqft 250w MH ....either going to add some cfls or a small hps....seed ya sooN

Lookin nice and healthy guys, i took one of the kos at day 50 is hanging up now. I really should have gave it another week but due to low supply down she goes. Will replace her with a clone or two sometime in the next week or so once i take down the others 2 weeks tops.

I`m going to tie main branches to the corners tmrw, space things as best I can.

My KQxBH have been flowering for a bit now, for small plants I think they're going to produce a decent yield...the buds already look like one solid mass of pistils going down the stalk. I'm going to try and remember to get some pics taken when I do the watering tomorrow.

Finally getting towards the home stretch...it has been a long outdoor season, started my first Super Lemon Haze plant back in March and have been tending to her since, so six months already and probably another 1.5-2 left, depending on how long she takes. What a beast too, she started stretching at around 5' tall and put on about an inch per day, now she stands at 7'6" and is loaded with flowers.

Super Lemon Haze sounds great...but long..no dout it`ll be worth it tho..it`ll be really interesting to hear a yield,mature time and smoke test compared to our KQxBH freebies

I like the sativa side of things too... but like 50/50 I/S crosses just as well. I`ve smoked pure princess (c99)..potent, made me paradoid.. to fast.... on the other end I`ve had la confidential..... and that was full brain melt....turned me into a wandering yogi bear...grew,smoked sensi`s durban...fast buzz..enjoyed it but not near the potency or yeildto make it a keeper. I love thai hyb`s the best....my fav smoke to date has to be dj shorts blue velvet....mmmmmmm mmmmm good. Thats why I had to have the KQxBH! hopeing for something close to that. With no KQxBH pollen....I`m thinking I`m going to have to spray GA....to force 1 or more of the KQxBH `s to hermi...make S1`s and cross with casey jones s1...which I`m really looking forward to trying. I need more space

The pheno differences in these 5 fem KQxBH is going to be interesting ..

2 real early male KO`s got 1 cloned...the one that had more side branches, just from the smell of the males... this is a refined strain..

pheno #1 leaf tip burn is from the cfls on the side getting to close...but I keep moving things around to try to prevent it,just upped the cfl bulbs to the 23 watt`ers (from 13) = better side lighting. Raised the 250w MH to almost its max height.

Nice pics Stone, hope the seeds give you some killer offspring.

Everything is moving along here, flowering plants are looking pretty good, getting fatter and putting on a bit of the frost. Not sure about my harvest window, but I'm estimating maybe end of the month or first week of November...one of my Cheeseberry girls has a very sativa lean to it, and is way, way behind the others on flowering, she might go until late November...the others have formed colas, she has only started throwing pistils in the last week or two. So glad I live in Socal and don't have to worry about frost,snow,really cold temps,etc...

I'll get some pics up at a later date, probably when they look a bit more interesting.

Just a nice pic of the top of of pheno #2 . It`s the shortest plant and also the tightest buds ..#1 is the same.

#1,2 are more indica... #4 is the tallest most sativa...but has nice resin...over all this strain is major sativa...I dont smell any blueberry,or skunk on any of them... smells like lemons if I had to pick a fruit... sativa

How's the BB gear doing stone?

Decided to plant a Casey Jones seed last night, kind of on a whim. Checked about 18 hours later and the seed shell had already cracked. Started in coco, not sure if I'm going coco the whole way or if I'll use a good soil once it's big enough to handle the heat. This is my fall/winter outdoor experimental grow.

hey joe ... I had a few quazy quakes not crack for me...dunno why... I have 1 smal casey jones s1 2" tall,in my box thats under 12/12 with the k.o kush and KQxBH.I belive I will keep it in there. I think it`ll be in very early flowering ..just when the KO kush males are dieing off. But I saved KO kush pollen in the refrig. I`m going to pack some in small packs and freeze some as well. This one casey jones I plan to pollinate through its life in this box to get as many " K.O Casey F1 " beans as possible It`s in a 1/2 gal gro pouch so not takeing up much of the 3 sqft box.. I`m sure it`ll finnish as I just start to flower a 1st round of KQxBH clones in there. I`ll start the rooted cuts of the 4 KQxBH females in 2 gal grow pouchs . (I`m killing off #5) ..the runt ..to far behind...buds like #3&4..) Lets say 7 days on veg to root under 24/0. Then back to the box to 12/12 to flower. I know I should do each pheno at a time in this small of box...But I know I can crunch things...and get a feeling of each of the 4 buy doing it fast this way..
So I`m going to keep this casey jones seedling in flowering and soon hope to be creating a BB gear Casey jones S1 (f) X K.O. Kush F4 (m) F1 ...because ..its really all I can do with what I have right now.. Things hopefully will change for the better.. I`d enjoy putting a few plans into play.. but for now this sounds about right for whats going on and going to happen...stay tuned

I wish I would have had a 250w hps ballast when I built this box...not the MH....the 1 thing I`m going to change is ...to take out all cfls there to hot for the leaves to touch....but put twin bulb 40w or 34w 4` shop fixtures of florescents on each side....the long bigger tube runs cooler... (I`ve grown pure sativa bag seed ...to where the leaves /branches wrapped around the bulbs) I wish I had a pic of that...
