forcing male to turn herm?

Wanted to know if there was any method for forcing a male plant to turn into a herm. Know about the colider silver for females anything for males?

What about taking the roots of a plant thats one sex and splicing a cutting of the other sex on it?

I heard theyve used this for clone only strains to produce male plants but im not sure how it worked or if its very hard.

I know growers splice other plants like grapes and tomatoes and roses to starts them growing in a solid root system or even a different type of plant that has an established root system.

im pretty sure you cant with STS or the ones that turn females into males. Its a one way street i guess?
