i'm quite interested to hear more though

Its a 91 NA Miata
Its just a cheap daily/track build i'm doing on the side of other projects.
Re-coating the bay was kind of a last minute decision but totally worth it haha.
Also about half way done building a refreshed 1.6L with slight internal modifications to prolong my abuse. =D
Keeping it n/a of course.

I'm doing something similar but with a 87 e30, it's a nice light cheap rwd base that can be built to remain competitive throughout the classes.

We do tons of miatas for auto-x and track at the shop I'm at, they're one of the largest racing classes and the most competitive. I've driven it all from high comp n/a stuff, big single and supercharged, if you ever get tired of a near stock na (which you will) go blown for sure. Tbh if you're still building it now I'd stroke it slightly, get the thickest head gasket you can find a put a mild cam in it. That's cheap enough but you won't regret it when you decided to go for boost.

Definetely the Ferrari, least I wont get herpes or some shit lol
Lol.. I'd rather the Ferrari too.. she's not all that hot IMO, and sex is sex! But how often do you honestly get to drive a car like a Ferrari, unless of course you won the sperm lottery ..

Technically we all won the sperm lottery. Some just win much bigger prizes than others :)

I wouldn't kick her out of bed but I'd definitely choose to drive the Ferrari. If I don't get to drive then I'll take a ride in her.

Very true MRE, but usually when I refer to winning the sperm lottery, I'm referring to the Paris Hilton's of the world.. I do see your point..

And hell yeah, she's cute and all, but not worth passing up the chance of getting behind the wheel of a Ferrari.. I always say I'd give my left nut to drive a car like that and I'd only bust a nut sleeping with her.. :)

I've driven a few and I wouldn't trade a nut for the experience. Definitely worth having but you can rent one for like a grand and a fairly hefty deposit. I know there's a place in the NY metro area that does it. Or there was one anyway. It's been awhile since I've had the money to even look up things like that. I'd love to do a track school like Skip Barber. Or the one you need to take to get a regular driver's license in Germany. You go on a closed course and they do things like suddenly spray water on the track when you're in a turn going 70mph. It's all well and good to tell someone how to save a car when you're sitting in your living room, it's another entirely to try to remember when the shit hits the fan. Especially the counter intuitive shit like steering into a skid. Doing it in a controlled environment where the worst that happens is you hit a tire wall until you get it right actually works.

There's a place about a mile or so from me that does the rent a super car thing.. its I think like $300 for an hour and like a grand for the day or something similar .. I know they have lambos and a Porsche 550 and a cobra..
I'm broke as a joke ATM as well or I'd look into it..
I was looking into renting a Ferrari when the gf and I were in Italy, lake Como, and it was around 500 euro / day I think it was, but being I already put out so much for the race and the trip to Como and a week in Venice after, I was already maxing out the budget .. :(
