Sorry for lack of photo updates. Been a stressful week with Esther.

Her 4 month check up was on Wednesday. She should of been 12 lbs but she was still 10lbs like at the 2 month visit.

Apparently, my milk had started to dry up 2-3weeks ago and caused her to lose weight. She was only getting about 1/3 of the calories she needed for growth and her body started drawing on her fat stores. Basically she was being starved.

Talk about the worst feeling in the world. Cried alot. I had no idea what her weight was and she always seemed happy. She didn't cry and she was hitting her milestones early even.

She is now on formula and breastmilk.

What makes it worse is my husband doesn't understand how bad it was and has not offered ONE WORD of consolation to me. He was however, EXTREMELY annoyed that I didn't make dinner.

Esther had a followup today and before the appointment I got so nervous and started crying. I had to have my mom come over an hour early to keep me company.

Husband still has not been kind. I came home after running her around for blood work and to buy formula. I asked him if he could feed her ( food was already in bottle and ready ) so I could make dinner. He said he didn't want to feed her because he had a bad day.

So to sum up, I feel like crap for not noticing her weight loss and my husband is being a douche which makes my day even crappier.

wtf.. :( as if she's not his child..
somehow some men tend to not realize that looking after few months child and having to do all other things at home is way more difficult than to be whole day at work. ..

FCJ has just passed into her 6th week. More pistils are turning orange. I could see her finishing in two weeks.

Fed her 1 1/2 tsp to 3/4 gallon. Got the hubby to "help". Glad that he is actually learning a little. He said he will help me trim this time. We'll just drop the baby off at the parents for 4-5 hours.

STAY TUNED FOR THE SWELL!
Dear sweet Black God..
Your girl is a fucking monster.

Yeah, my mom was going to tell him he needed to help around the house today but he was being an ass..

Wednesday I was super stressed about Esther not gaining weight (or had gained and lost it). Plus I had to see her get 3 shots, a catheter, xrays, and 3 vials of blood drawn.

I was going to cook bourban chicken that night but after all that I just felt like focusing on Esther and trying to stay mellow. So I brought home a rotisserie chicken and made velveeta. I also brought home teryaki chicken thathe liked.

But he was annoyed that I didn't pick up a pizza and continued to be passive aggressive all night.

damn FP, sound like a bad couple of days there... The important thing is the health of the child, dinner can wait for sure. Love how good the plants are looking and even more that you made velveeta's (lol, I love those things!!, and yes I'm a grown up man) Stay positive, focus on yourself this couple of days. Life can be though sometimes but is in this moments that we define who we are. Looking forward to the harvest & next run.

hope for nothing but the best with you and your family! im sure it seems like the weight will never gain fast enough but im sure it would be very unhealthy to be gaining pounds and pounds every month. your child probably has a fast metabolism. the weight will come once she (right?!) starts eating cereals and shit especially with the baby food meals. i deal with a 3yr old animal. when he was a baby he would pound his bottles like he was funneling beer almost all the time..some days he wouldnt drink it half as fast or even the same amount. then one day at a check up the doctor told us that he was above avg weight and we should cut down on feeding him. didnt want to starve our child so we didnt cut down at all just let him do him and now hes 35+ pounds not too thick and not to skinny. somedays he can out eat me (6'2 180lbs) no bs! its like he eats for fun. hes a kid and does what he does best and runs around all day and it keeps the eating problem in check lol. the moral of my rant is that your child will be healthy. progress is a slow process, and in your situation like i said earlier it would be very unhealthy to be gaining weight too fast IMO

Se was supposed to be gaining 2lbs a month. She had gained 2 lbs from birth to her first (2mo) appointment. My milk just dried up without me being aware of it.

It is just a huge hit to think you were doing well and then realize that you were starving your baby. I love her more than anything in the world and that fact that I wasn't feeding her enough hurts. I'm her mommy and she relies on me to keep her safe and fed.

I finally got the husband to understand how I felt last night.

Day 89 - 12/12 Day 48

FCJ is doing great. Very sturdy branches. I have only had to adjust one branch to keep it from touching the light. The smell is very minimal. Taking a whiff at the tent door is like sticking your nose into a bouquet of flowers.

She needs to be watered every day now. I will be giving her 1tsp to 1/2 gallon every day.

Really pleased with the Maxigrow. Also impressed with the carbon filter and fan. Kept my temps down and smell absent. I will be looking forward to it's affect with the Goji.

I am thinking she will need another 2 weeks. We shall see. I will be checking trichs around day 55.

Ms. Flame that FCJ looks just superb, and she will reward you for that ;) I'll be growing her again my next go around in about 7-10 weeks.

I see Ms. Flame got some proper equipment ;) where did you get your fan and filter?

I had a recent pic in my last update. I don't know where it went. I'll post it again later.

I got a filter fan combo from the place you recommended to me. I think I posted the link before the flip to flower.
