Not red lights .. There are many different colors of light when flowering "buding" the plant. You want a more WARM color of light.... And for growing u want mostly COOL color althogh both is better ... When flowering put in more lights cuz it takes more LUMENS (strengthnes of the light) to flower than grow your plants...also u can keep the lights pretty close to your plant cuz your useing compact flouresent lighting and don't give off alot off heat like other bigger lamps that are even made for growing...heat is no good it will stunt your plants growth as well as heat up your resivour and cause ROOT ROT ....

all you need is 6 extra 42w cfls they equal 2,700 lumens each =16,400 lumens not even to mention ag lights get these spiral bulbs you will love them ,,,420

ok this is what i bought today....is this right?
i didnt get 6 bulbs, but i did get 2. they are 15w clfs soft white spiral bulbs. On the package it says that one 15w spiral bulb is supposed to equal one 60w regular light bulb. I also purchased two clip desk lamps. i know its not as many as the doc recommended, but i didnt want to buy too much and have it be wrong.

i also have set my aerogarden now set to the strawberry setting so i get 15 hours on and 9 hours off. i figured that was better than the herb setting cause the herb setting gives 18 hours on 6 hours off. tomorrow i am going to set up the aerogarden to 12 hours on and 12 hours off. I FINALLY FIGURED OUT HOW TO DO THAT!!!
I am putting a timer on the new bulbs i got to be on for 12 hours and off as well.


any more suggestions? as you can see, im very happy to hear advice!
please tell me the new bulbs i bought will work fine....

if your veggen your plants u should KEEP it on 18 on 6 off...
when flowering 12/12
try to find a bulb thats more than 15 watt

rush not good for growing you want lumens and the 42w are perfect nothing better i put my good name on it they are even better and closer looking to natural sunlight than my ag deluxe lights you can grow squat bushy plants and bro please keep the lights on 24/7 except flowering 12/12 dank dont need to sleep theres plenty of time for it to sleep while its cureing (it'll be sleepin 4 life) lol 420 you will grow oz's !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i use 42w cfls on all grows start for outside , indoors hydro veging, hempy buckets, indoor soil/cocco coir its the best put light 1 inch or closer away .

fist i love you but they are good for a bathroom light you need to please take them back and get 42w equivalant to 150 w each a must to grow bushy plants those cfls arent good and take back desk lamps and get lowes work light clamp with half chrome dome they are cheaper and better ,,,420 i want you to b all you can b

damnit. i knew i would fuck it up somehow. alright, well i will return that shit and buy what you're tellin me to get. BUT by the way, i must have to add that my plants are like 9 inches tall and really thriving after giving them the right nutes and stuff. its only been 3 weeks and i have had to raise the notch on the ag twice already. i cant wait! I just hope my weed won't be too low in thc level. my luck it probably will but at least i will know how to grow the second time around...

ok. im pretty sure i need to change my water in my aerogarden. how do you guys do that? my plants are about 8 inches tall (and its only been 3 weeks!!!) and the roots are getting thick as hell. can some one please give me instructions on how to change the water? im scared to somehow kill the plants or make a big mess....

walmart there the biggest cfl spiral they have $8 each their spiral cfls ,,,they remind me of like mini hps nice light ,,420 gl bro

fist you dont want them tall tall means male or stretching for light my method have a squat bushy plant with many nudes and branchs nudes = more bud sites buds are goood and i had plants that were a month old and 10 inchs tall about 24 side branchs and canopy of 32 inchs wide monster bushy like a 1970's porno,,,420

get a big bowl the shape of the ag fill it with room temp water cold will shock ur plants and take the top off ur ag put it ontop of the bowl so all the roots are in water ,and rinse out and scrub ag resevoir with peroxide rinse it good and fill back up with water ,,,im here 4 u beautiful 420

by the way im also growing outdoor and im having a little problem with aphids....do you have any advice on how to get rid of them without harming my plants or makin the budz taste wacky....i heard NEEM OIL is the safest....but where do i find it????

im not growing any outdoors this year not worth the risks i dont grow were i lived due to moving ,you can get neem oil at your local hydro store gluck ,,,420

how much do you think the neem oil will cost?.....what do you think are the risks of growing outdoors?....personaly i think it would be risky if it wasent on your property say in like a forrest...be cuz somone can stumble apon it and take em....but there would also be some risk if it was on your property....police....but they'd have to have a reason to snoop around...so dont give them one...another is thieves but i dont have to worry my dog takes care of anybody uninvited

im 30 yrs old and been there and done that a true g would avoid being captured by the police for any reasons big or small get caught growing young you will be targeted the rest of ur life by ur local task force ,,,be careful and not foolish b ecause freedom is worth more than a ton of reefer ,,,420
