would a 150w hps light be enough for 2 autos?

I am about to start 2 autoflowers. It will be a small closet grow. I am not sure if I should grow in soil or a hempy bucket grow yet. I was thinking of using CFLs for the grow. I also seen a 150w hps light. Would a 150w hps and some CFLs for side lighting be enough light coverage for 2 autoflowers?

A 150w HPS is 16000 lumens where a 250w HPS is 27500 lumens.

This is just a rough guide, can vary depending on make of Bulb..Etc

Instead of using the CFL get a 250W MH/HPS and use that. It will give you a better yield generally.

The 150w hps with cfls should be sufficient for 2 autos pending your closets size. If you can grab a 250 you would be alot happier with results. GL

150w should be fine for your setup... I would go with a coco or perlite/vermiculite hempy bucket. Faster growth and less chance of bugs/pests.

wow that unit looks really expensive, is 650 the wattage? and whats the spectrum it justs says red/blue from what I can see and red/blue only lights are really not that great, you want something with a 6 band spectrum or more, or at least one that has full spectrum leds mixed in.

and to the OP 150 is about the bare minimum id want for 2 plants
