rootboundness is something you gotta keep in the back of ya mind.... there are roughly equal amounts of plant above and below the soil. Looks good. Got a thermometer set up to see how low the temps drops during the dark cycle?

Yeah, I wasn't even considering that they would be rootbound as I have read that you should have a gallon per foot. I do have a thermometer set up and my lowest temperature is 59°F (The lowest I have my thermostat at). Here are some updated pics of some progress today:

Veg room

IMG_1751.jpg

I've got the two rooms almost completely seperated, just some touching up to do tomorrow! New clones seem to be doing well, one looks a little limp. One of the bigger clones is really doing well considering they have been in 12/12 for a few days

Thanks for looking! :weed:

Here a video of the room currently:

Just threw it together really fast, will make a more complete one in a few...watering plants atm.

I think I will make a walkthrough video to show the arrangement of the veg and flower room. Although I am not in an attic, it is setup a bit like one, so those that may have similar space can get some ideas.

Thanks! I can't wait to wrap this grow and grow room build up! I am thinking I will compile all the issues I had (have pictures) and what exactly fixed it. I update often, so check back soon!

I did a write up while RIU was down...

Medium:

  • ReadyGro Aeration Formula
  • Fox Farms Ocean Forest

Nutrients:
Week 1-2
No nutrients added, was germinated in Black Gold seedling formula

Week 3-4

  • Miracle Gro Tomato food at 1/3 strength *embarrassed*

Week 5-6
Made the mistake of not adding CalMg+ to my well water. Ran into a deficiency of both at this point.

  • Botanicare Kind Base 4-0-0 + 5% Calcium, 6 mL/g
  • Botanicare Kind Bloom 2-2-4, 12 mL/g

Week 7-8

  • Botanicare Kind Base 4-0-0 + 5% Calcium, 7 mL/g
  • Botanicare Kind Grow 2-2-4, 12 mL/g
  • General Organics CalMg+, 5 mL/g

Week 1 of Flower

Fox Farms Ocean Forest, every other water
ReadyGro Aeration, every water

  • Botanicare Kind Base 4-0-0 + 5% Calcium, 10 mL/g
  • Botanicare Kind Grow 2-2-4, 5 mL/g
  • Botanicare Kind Bloom 0-6-6, 10 mL/g
  • General Organics CalMg+, 5 mL/g

Water:
Filtered well water every two-three days, pH 6.3-6.5

Lighting:

  • 1000W HPS X3and
  • 8 lamp 48 inch HO fluorescent X2
  • 8 lamp 48 inch HO fluorescent in the veg room

Vegged with 24 hr HO fluorescent and transitioned to 18/6 for a day then to 12/12 HPS + HO fluorescent

Electricity:

  • PowerBox DPC-7500-120v, converts 240v to 120v to half the amperage
  • 40A breaker w/ 8/3 wire from the panel

Plants include:

  • 2X Afghani #1 x Maui Island Haze (Afgooey), clones
  • 4X Afghani #1 x Hindu Kush x Blueberry (Tops Blooby), seed
  • 1X AK-47, seed
  • 1X Permafrost x Ghost OG Kush (Iceberg), clone
  • 1X OG Kush x Romulan (Final Frontier), clone

Training:

  • 1X Tops Blooby, topped
  • 1X AK-47, HST
  • 1X Iceberg, topped
  • 1X Final Frontier, topped

The rest are just groomed periodically as I really intended to see how they grow naturally to choose my method of training next grow.

All seeds and clones are from a local breeder

I got a sample seed from a local grower and it just broke soil! I am easily entertained I suppose...

to early to say yield. More then a pound?
Yeah, that is why I was seeing if anyone had any guesses. Kind of a "how many jellybeans in the jar" thing. Except there is no prize. Just a "dude, you were pretty close". Sorry, I ramble after I smoke my nightcap.

Hello Ogracious, very nice looking ladies. Keeping them all green when there are several strains can be a challenge. Im guessing you will have to stake those babies off when they start gaining weight. Also, when you did that video, plants seemed to be well into week 2. Flower time starts the day lights went 12/12. You should yield well. I would guess qp per plantnd very dependant on strain and health towards end of flower. Good luck. Keep up the good work. Dilly

Thanks! I am prepared with bamboo sticks if it comes down to it. I was actually quite amazed how fast they recover from HST. Hasn't slowed down at all!

Funny how I was shopping for another camera last night and today it decides to focus and take good pics!

So I took it to the yard too.
