Nice setup. Do you rotate the plants under the plasma light, so they each get a turn at it, or are they all staying put ?

I have not rotated them. Should i ? I figured it would effect growth if stuff keeps changing on them.

I'd mark four plants using just numbers, two currently under HPS, and two under the plasma light, then rotate them every 3 days. If they showed improved growth after 9 days, I'd start the rotation with the others. If the growth didn't improve you'd know for sure.
I suspect a little time under each would be beneficial, as I find the plants that do best in my garden are the ones in between MH & HPS's. Where they catch a mixture of both.

I am an idiot, read that this helps bud production, guess i should have asked here first. So bad mistake. I guess I put them back to veg light (18/6) until they recover? Then back to 12/12 light after the leaves have returned...hopefully

Yep sounds like a good plan........you just lost time, but I would definitely NOT enter flower stage in that condition. Cannabis is tough, they will bounce back fro you grower.
I've made plenty of mistakes, trust me NOT pretty stuff........... so just chalk it up as a "lesson" learned............good luck

You're not an idiot! You did get a little overzealous though. Just give them a week or two in veg and they will look great. I routinely defoliate and recommend it but I'm really just looking to get light to every bud site or potential bud site. So if a fully developed big ass fan leaf is blocking light to otherwise productive parts of the plant it gets removed. The serious plucking you did may surprise you with a nice jungle when those plants punch out some new growth.

Agreed.. You are not an idiot, you just ran with the info at hand. I am a fan of tucking and tying. I only remove leafs if they are damaged. I tried the whole defoliation thing on a few plants and wound up with small, under developed plants that took for ever to grow and barely produced. My choice is to remove inner branches for clones which opens the plant for more air flow (helps with PM).

Now that this has happened, why not flip the lights and see what you can get. If everyone here is right, you might as well start out fresh and replace them all.
You will most likely have to give them a lot of extra nutrition, as they have lost almost everything stored.
