Is this what all dem's do? Just bash and slander. I haven't really heard a great point from you Buck. Plus you're kind of an asshole.

Threads are here for discussion. You're just vomiting all over anyone that doesn't share your thoughts.
I agree.....I really don't think he is doing the Dems any favors...IMO....

hmmmm, judging by the location i'm gonna go ahead and not bother pointing out how it goes both ways.

i will point out that slander is pretty impossible in written form.

but maybe i'll consider playing by your rules and the next time winter woman spills an obvious, racially charged lie onto the board, i will congratulate her in the same way that a mother congratulates her infant for pooping in its diaper.

Okay so where were we? Oh yes, blaming bush for all of today's economic failures. Please continue.

Oooo or we can talk about how unions are ruining this country and how they are in the pockets of most politicians.

Latin definition of politics...
Poly = Many
Ticks = Blood Suckers
hahaha :hump:

Now we are progressing past that primate mentality.
sadly he is sorta correct.

slander requires the spoken word, while libel is in print, but as this forum is NEITHER, how about we just call it Calumny, of which Bucky is the King.

primate mentality is comparing the economic, capitalist powerhouse of california to communism.
Lol, the economic powerhouse of California? hahaha. Buddy CA is broke... Flat broke. In no way shape or form are we an economic powerhouse.

My location is also referring to our great states take on gun control. And Yes I like all of the amendments.

actually, i think we were still discussing how winterwoman votes for republicans, and then complains if they pass a bill promoting nutrition assistance programs to spanish speaking americans or hungry american children, but only if they are too mexico-y looking.

never a peep from her if they promote food stamps to hungry white children in appalachia.

hahaha :hump:

those damned unions and their 40 hour work weeks and livable wages.

:cuss:

if we don't all drudge endlessly for whatever meager ration of gruel or benevolent job creators allow to trickle down, then it is communism.

communism communism communism communism communism communism.

communism.

commiefornia.

communism.

i have won the debate.

California now has so much projected revenue that Sacramento legislators don't what to do with it, The New York Times' Adam Nagourney reports. The final budget surplus figure for 2014 will fall somewhere between $1.2 and $4.4 billion, depending on who's counting.

Well good for us. I was un aware. Thank you for the enlightenment.

Back to unions. I agree to a point that they were needed. Especially around the depression era. However I work with unions daily in my line of work and let me tell you that it run like a mafia... Teamsters in particular.

Forced labor rather it's good or bad. (no incentive to do good work since they will all go on strike if they don't get their way)

I had a conversation with a friend of mine.

"Bringing manufacturing back to America would increase jobs, stimulate the economy, etc."

My point: "Bringing back manufacturing would only increase the cost of the final goods sold. Stimulating nothing except the pockets of coporate exec."

Why is that because we have union labor requiring an extensive amount of pay, pension, benefits, etc. Add in taxes, epa, laws and whatever other gov agency you see fit.

And an iphone goes from $400 - $900.

The surplus is almost certainly the result of wealthy Californians trying to bank capital gains before the Bush tax cuts expired, Nagourney says.

Guess ya gotta give credit where credit is due. Oh, that's a one time surplus, unless someone in DC decides he want to play tax cutter on the wealthy.

yeah!

why aren't americans more eager to participate in a race to the bottom against people working in sweat shops and in slave-like conditions?

ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!!

ohh thats rich.

that "surplus" is entirely the result of deferred maintenance on the infrastructure.

they are still flat ass broke, wallowing in debt and unable to keep the roads in repair.

sacramento sucked off fat sacks of cash from the already impoverished county and city governments to try and balance the books, they fucked the people to try and fix their failing credit rating so they could sell more bonds, and eventually lend us some Preparation H for our abused asses.

california is wallowing in it's own diseased filth and will remain there until the economic realities sink in at the capitol and they stop spending like drunken sailors on boondoggles, while slashing programs for kids, the poor, the indigent and the elderly.

Jerry "The Once and Future Governor" Brown did every last one of the things the left accuses the right of wanting, cuts to education, cuts to welfare, cuts to food stamps, cuts to universities, cuts to medi-cal, cuts to state employee pensions, cuts to inner city youth programs, engaging in for-profit prisons, etc etc etc, all to build his giant model train between SF and LA, at a cost of SIX MILLION DOLLARS A DAY (weekends and holidays included) for the next decade.

wheres your liberalism now cheesie?
