The fact that Hank bought into the whole gambling problem and had enough money to buy a car wash without looking into it makes him a horrible cop and is a huge wtf in the story.
I think Hank didn;t want to believe. I think the writers had him know and it was represented in the smirking passive aggressive questioning throughout the series. Like when he asks him about WW in Gale's journal or when hugo the janitor was arrested. It seemed like a cognitive dissonance thing that was finally removed when Walt confesses he is heisenberg.

It's only a 60 minute show, can't waste time on him filling up at every gas station. If you watched Talking Bad, the head writer Vince Gilligan talked about a scene they were thinking of doing when he was filling up at the gas station and an old student recognized him but they simply didn't have enough time to shoot that scene. Use your imagination, it's a fictional show for crying out loud. The fact that Hank bought into the whole gambling problem and had enough money to buy a car wash without looking into it makes him a horrible cop and is a huge wtf in the story.

Agreed it was a bit cheesy and I did think to myself if he had never been to the compound before, how did he know what building they were going to take him in? But all in all I thought it was pretty damn enjoyable. Sorry you didn't feel it was as well done as you hoped it might be.
He didn't. When the nazi jumped in the car with him he told him which building to go to, then Walt pulled that big pimp turn to make sure the gun had a clear sweep of the entire building. As he was pimpin' the turn the nazi was asking him wtf he was doing.

But how did he know that they were going to take him in that exact building was what I was thinking? Maybe I missed him telling him that they were going into that specific building? I thought he just told him to pull over there. Also was there even another building or trailer next to that building?
Gotta re-watch it. Only watched it that night.

Yes, you missed that part. The guy told him right where to go, and Walt just made sure he got his contraption aimed right. Also, how perfect was 'Baby Blue' for the final song while Walt is lying there dying and then dead? I thought it was incredibly fitting. Poor Walt. =)

Ah okay, in that case I would have loved for the show to continue.

I was not disappointed in any way by the finale though, and it sucks to hear some people didn't like it. Jesse strangling Todd was incredibly satisfying to me, as were jack and lydia's deaths. And I was proud of Walt for saving jesse in the end. I also thought the scene with badger, skinny pete and the laser pointers was genius. The part where elliot and his wife walk right past walt as he's sitting on the bench made me giddy. These are just a few scenes from the top of my head that I really thought captured the entire nature of the show.. and Walt dies in the lab, after tying up every single loose end. Man I loved that show

"how you feeling lydia..kind of like you have the flu?" - damn near the best part for me..always disliked that bitch. walt dies in the lab after admiring the lab him and jesse created, just as the police show up - too late.

damn good ending if you ask me now that i think about it.

Yes, they couldn't have picked a better song. Badfinger made some bank off of ITunes after that show aired.
