Nope. Just someone who uses rationality to decide things and not preconceived notions or judgements. Im always open to someone challenging my opinion with science or concrete evidence in hopes to convince a less knowledgeable person of something new or different.
Its hard to describe my political standings because i cross many different lines all over the place.
Im pro gun. Gun control is useless because you can make one out of $20 of home depot piping. Or if you have a 3d printer. haha. But it could help to be stricter on background checks or mental evaluations. I dont know how this would be accomplished but i think that there are more important tasks at hand to deal with.
Im am pro gay rights. Speaks for itself. Everyone's the same and deserves the same.
I am pro choice. Making abortions illegal will only increase the number of "back alley abortions" and increase the amount of people on government assisted aid.
I am for the affordable care act. AKA obamacare for those who know so little about it they think that is the name of the actual law.
I am against corruption and bribery. Even if it is to help myself gain something in the long run. Like stated above with the marijuana legality statement.
I am for people from outside the country coming into it to try to better the lives of themselves and others.
I am against the NSAs probing and collection of personal data. Its wrong. Regardless of when you look at it or if you ever do.
If unions are used correctly to make the working place more safe or to make sure workers arent being taken advantage of then i do support them.
This isnt often the case and they can be used to hold a company by the balls for unecessary reasons.
Much like the govt shutdown. Its hurting everyone and only really helping Ted Cruz get a few votes from the super right and Obama supporters by giving them more of a reason to hate republicans.
So after all this you can make the classification to what political group i fall in. I have no need or use for one so i have never hashed it out myself.
This is what i believe in and youre welcome to believe what you want. Thats part of what the USA was founded on and as we get older and older the further we stray from that. Telling people what they can and cant ingest, who they can and cant love, when they can and cant become a citizen of our country.
I am against injustice no matter who its caused to. Be it a white supremacist killing a black man or a black panther killing a white man. A straight guy hating gay people or a gay person for hating straight people. Youre entitled to feel those feeling but if you take it to the point of confrontation, be prepared to accept the consequences regardless of win or loss.
