the house republicans have tried to shut down the government seven times and got "giddy" about the prospect of a shutdown.

The left knows damn well that if the individual mandate is postponed for a year, like Obama did for the big corporations, Obamacare will fall flat on it's face.
Even the snot nosed progressive are figuring out it's a major FAIL
Hey, lets pass a bill to postpone the individual mandate for a year, then we can see what's in it!

if the law was as bad as the righties say it is, they would be encouraging its rapid implementation so that people would get sick of it and elect a republican president to repeal it.

but that's not what has the righties worried.

the righties are worried that once it is implemented, it will become popular with the american people and they will never be able to get rid of it.

ted cruz even said so.

Well it being about the votes

Obama campaign in 2008 definitely mentioned healthcare reform
He got the votes
He then got the votes to get it thru congress and the Senate
Even the supreme court
Then in 2012 the republicans ran someone who promised to stop ppaca(he didn't get the votes by a long way)
Obama was re-elected because guess what he had the votes....

Damn democracy.......


It's not like it's obvious to everyone that republicans didn't have the votes then or now to stop it hence their hissy fit and attempt to destroy country

It's passed into law they have no need to budge on it

Name another major piece of legislation that went into law against the peoples will.

The only crazies are the idiots who thought this pos ACA was a freebie, that's why the left kept the particulars of the bill under lock and key.

Obama winning a second term came from the mainstream media and Hispanic vote, Americans didn't and still don't want the ACA. Even the snotty nosed progressives are realizing it's not what it was sold.
