I took the bottom growth off 2 days before flower which was about half the plant so i thought
it would be enough but now there is more undergrowth that isn't getting much light
They're 2ft high, the light is 400w.

Should i take it off?

Some are going to say clear the lower area some will say leave um be.

I say do what's best for your plant and space.

If your plant has plenty of stems and you feel you can do with out the bud these straggly stems will provide, cut a few of them off.

You do know the tops will get bigger from cutting all the bullshit popcorns off right? They do the same thing with tomatoes they cut the little suckers off so the good branches have more energy to produce nice big fruits. They call them suckers because it literally sucks the energy from producing the nice big tomatoes the same goes with cannabis.

So yes I would cut everything that will only produce popcorn buds cause you will not be losing bud if anything you will be gaining but gaining in prime buds not popcorns that will not fully ripen or even get very dense. Just my 2 cents.

Yeah, I wouldn't go all lollipop on her but thinning it out a bit for airflow
wouldn't hurt.

Nice job.

Yeah, you need to do some cleaning out, way too much going on down there. How would you ever see a nanner if one appears?

He's right. Do whats you feel is best. Although from my experience, even a thumb sized nug down low is gonna dry out to be about the size of belly-button lint. To me, they aint worth the effort when compared to the benefits of good airflow.

Cool, btw what's the strain and how long did you veg for?

Thanks.
Special queen #1 from rqs. They were about 2 1/2 months from clone when i flipped, took about 2 weeks to put out roots.
Had to veg on the side of my flowering plants under the HPS though. Can't wait to get a cupboard for my metal halide.
