hhmm, i'm not sure now you ask, i know that the 2.0 was a short run though, maybe it's a 99.5.. ??

Is it the mk3 or mk4 body style? If it is mk3 it's a 99, mk4 it's a 99.5.
Do you plan on swapping out the 2.slow?

yeah, it's a mk 4, so i guess it's the 99.5..
and i'd love to do a swap. it's not too slow, other than being an automatic.
it revs really nice up till i hit about the 80mph mark or so, than it'll fall flat on it's face for a good 20 or so, and once i hit 100 or so, it'l pick back up some..
the highest i've had it was around a buck thirty or so.. was racing another gti on the njtp.. funny thing is, the next day i saw the car at waterfest vw show.. it was pretty funny..

how do you like the new body styles bearded?? idk, i think my faves are the mk 5's, still pretty boxy, and looks how i like my gti's..
i've always wanted a mk5 r32, oh yeah baby..
a buddy of mine had a mk6 r32, and put a neuspeed exhaust on it.. omfg, that thing sounded sweet imo.. he sold it soon after for some sort of audi, and not a cool one, lol.. he's also building a 60 something vw bus, should be pretty sweet when he's done with it.. he sold his porsche 914 that he had restored to buy the bus.. it was a 914/4, but was really nice.. he put a lot of money and time in the thing for sure..

I see a fair bit of Ferrari 365 in there as well. it featured in the aforementioned Bond movie, a Connery original. You get to hear it in that film!

I'd kill for a mk5 r32. Mk6 eh idk.
Mk2 is my favorite body style. Trying to talk my buddy into selling me his 92 Cabrio, it's classy.
I have a old Scirocco shell in my garage that I'd like to find a frame for and build that into my show car.
