Seeds Confiscated by US Customs

Im concerned with having my name recorded as an intended recipient, Ive noticed the letters sent from customs has a tracking/reference number on the bottom in case you want to dispute it and go down to claim your seized items (like an idiot) That means your name is recorded somewhere to be looked up when you show up at the customs office holding the paper asking for your seeds (cuz there are people who figure if you can buy it online it must be legal) I know they wont pursue anyone because they cant prove that you ordered them, they have no case or proof of your criminal intent.

I just ran across this thread. Better late than never. I've had 4 seed orders confiscated by customs over the years. I too noticed the "Reference Number" on the letters I received. I never freaked out over them. But in 2008, I took my two sons' with me for a trip to Amsterdam. I had to get a new passport......That got me worrying a little bit. No problem though. Got the PP is under 2 weeks. I was more concerned about actually getting to Amsterdam, period. I thought that those reference numbers put me into a data base, and that I would be stopped at the airport and having something bad happen....like denying me to take my trip. In the end, nothing ever happened. I used to order seeds from all different places online. the 4 times my orders were confiscated, 3 had been orders with Nirvana and I believe the 4th was from the joint doctor, (?). Once I became aware of the Attitude, that's the only place I order from. I've probably made at least a dozen orders through them with absolutely no problems. Unfortunately, I just placed an order with them on Oct. 4th. The package has been sitting in Chicago since Oct. 11th. There has been an increasing number of confiscations by customs in Chicago and L.A. New York seems to be all good. What's weirding me out is why my seeds went through Chicago. Every other order I've ever placed has entered the US via New York. I guess I'll start breeding my own from now on. Peace!!!

its RC's that are being searched for mainly. etiz' is the main culprit i bet. which i wish i had some of btw... lol. or the stupid bath salts or the AKB48 whatever stuff. i dont want those. just wish the etiz were easier to get in the usa, they are 100% legal as an RC.

i wish i could get some honestly. its hard ot get in usa cuz of the analouge act. im scripted k-pins now... but my last visit my dr was on leave cuz of pregnancy and the new dr tried to drop me. i was wtf!? my other dr promised this wouldnt happen. she laughed and told me she didnt tell me that and i was lying. wow.

so yeah ive been looking into getting some etiz-,-,-, etc... from a reliable source either in the usa or to the usa. so i dont have to buy stupid xanax off the street. at least i have my subs to help tho. theyve started using suboxone on benzo addicts now... it'll be everywhere soon.

but my point was that those things cause more packages to be intercepted because they are looking for mephadrone, bath salts, that fake weed shit, etc... and if they can prove that RC's are for human consumption then they can take those even tho they are legal.

What is actually the legality of seeds. I always thought as long as they were labeled as souviners they were not illegal. I probably am way of base with this thought process. I have sent seeds by post across US border and never gave it a thought.

Changing the name doesn't change the subject. They're still seeds, no matter what label you put on them.

the usa has very strict laws regarding the importation of any seed from international locations. you have to have paperwork to show that they are allowed here. its to keep invasive species out and pests that might destroy some industries. also to protect creator rights for certain flowers and veggies.

There is tons of China sellers selling veggie seeds on ebay cheap now, I do not think they bother with paperwork, I'd never buy Chinese seeds anyway.

My limited experience this with weed seeds this year are: Order from Canada lost. Vendor resend the seeds, lost again, no letter or anything from Customs. Then I got P.O. box in different town and zip, next "stealth" order from same Canadian breeder come through, then order from Nederlands came through also. I have no clue what to make of it. What are odds of 2 consecutive orders from same sender to same recepient being "lost"? astronomical, perhaps higher than winning lotto.

That tells me that likely some sbitch from local P.O. stole my seeds twice.
When I order from Holland I am trying not to order anything from Amsterdam, since word Amsterdam is a synonyms with dope here and around the World I guess.

I hear more people complain about Chicago Customs snagging seed packs more then any other customs location. All of my packs go through New York customs are straight to San Francisco. I have ordered over 15 times from 3 different seed banks and never had an order seized (knock on wood).

Yes Chicago customs (mobsters) are good at stealing beans, I bet they sell it on the free market. I had heavy losses (stealings) on orders from Canada comparing to orders from Netherlands (New York) going through.

Chicago is the most corrupted city in US, remember Al Capone, or recently Jessy Jackson, and other crooks? How about our President Obama the King !!!

This chicago shit is insane. I placed an order with attitude on oct. 4th. It's been sitting in chicago ISC since the 11th....No tracking update since last Friday. I'm pretty certain it's been snatched and that I'll be getting the customs letter.....who knows? I might even get one of those neat little "Shit" sticky notes from that ass wipe customs employee in chicago!! I've been ordering from attitude for many years. This is the first order that's ever gone through chicago. Every other order I've made entered through NY. That's kinda strange. Perhaps, instead of sending out the SWAT teams to do their BS, it's gotta be a hell of a lot less expensive to simply start snagging peoples beans. AND....at least one employee at chicago customs is laughing his/her ass off. Dildo Fucker!!!!!!

Yep! Never order from the Netherlands. Never. Even the UK is becoming not cool. If the sellers would just come up with some new means of "stealth" shipping. Are the owners and employees of these seed banks NOT stoners? Are they NOT getting high themselves???? Damn.....Do some bong hits and get creative folks. Please? Because our "little secret" ain't so secret anymore....
