Fortunately men are wired this way for if we didn't have a one track mind, we would get distracted or turned off by all the chatter of a woman's tongue. Certainly mankind's number would eventually diminish into sub-existence if not the end of mankind if we were not wired this way.

just saying that wired drive (testosterone) which may appear to be self centered is what fuels man to persevere (survive) otherwise he may hesitate with emotional concerns and fail to make a needed immediate decision pertaining to a life and death occurring event. Men will typically react without giving thought to their own welfare first to put themselves in harms way (don't get me wrong, not saying women can't) saying on the norm. Just saying the ability for men to set aside emotions allows an easier and quicker reaction to a situation because of how we compartmentalize or single process or minimal process of an event allows men to make decisions where there is not a luxury of time to consider how the feel about it, in doing so they might think twice about jumping in front of that oncoming car about to hit you when they remember how mad they are at you for something you said earlier.

That same ability makes us appear to just having one thing on our mind an absence of emotional intimacy, again appears to be. But yes when it comes to sex that drive is fueled by testosterone, and it is a strong mojo, but it has to be in order for us to react the way we need to when it comes to protecting that is laying down our lives for women, for on the surface it may appear to be one track mind thing, but when you see a man laying down his life (when personal interest sacrifices are made in the interest of both for the whole as an example giving up a night with the boys to care when the other is sick, even when it is just an allergy but she wants to be held) for his woman then it is more then the natural drive that is so strongly apparent in all men expect about 10% "Hi Mary".

I'm just saying what appears to be so one tracked is actually a real positive on the whole, that is if a man learns to connect emotionally as well as physically.

So please don't beat me up too bad about that until you walk in my shoes that is have your entire body and mind being fueled testosterone, it has a way of making men look foolish, forget look act foolishly too.

Anywise good night sweet dreams if your still up, I am sure estrogen has its benefits too can you remind me what they are? :)

I appreciate your wisdom on the matter since you are, in fact, a male. :) testosterone I can appreciate...assholes, not so much ;) no pun to you, speaking of my ex. And a few others I've encountered lol..

Women are complex creatures who just need to be understood..most men are too simple minded to understand that :)
thankfully I've met one that isn't too simple minded, at least, most of the time LOL
