It can, and will get worse. Just wait til the dollar is no longer the worlds reserve currency. It's already happening. What little money you have will be worth much less. Less money, runaway inflation and skyrocketing commodity prices. You think $4 a gallon for milk is high now, you just wait. There's a reason gold is up 13 years in a row. We can't pay our countries bills now and we keep piling on more debt. A disaster waiting to happen and it's coming down the tracks faster than most people realize.

The economy is independent of government and it's health is measured to the extent government stays out of it. This government will collapse sooner or later though as their lies get bigger, it will be harder to herd the sheep.

I just looked up what states spend the most on welfare and California topped the list along with some other blue states..Oregon was #15 on the list..

Yes, our military budget has become a form of welfare, but it's people working for pay at least.

Yeah me neither. I'm just pointing out that real people will be jobless when the necessary cuts are made. It's become a self inflicted problem, we've painted ourselves in the corner. Lose the military jobs in this country and we'll feel real pain.
