Ugh....honestly none of the threads are worth a sticky..some very close, but if good posts/answers come about halfway in the thread due to new unasked questions, not up to par

I would like a closed sticky of winterizing, what a purge is, how to protect your cannabinoids from degrading, and the cause/how to produce the different textures and qualities of each type of hash we all produce....not methods like an Oakley thread and whatever(though its a great thread and has been mentioned to me that it should be stickied) it should be more about why each step was used for the purpose of making that product. And how you can alter each step to change your product ..I have many different methods of making hash, I just started becoming fond of the pure white powder and even crystallized thc a few months ago. Its still qwiso just like tc's waxed qwiso from the higher heat and humidity.......

The people coming to the sticky aren't wanting a step by step how to for dummies but rather to fully understand what they are doing and how to alter the product

The sticky thing has been floating around our heads for the past month or so..no progress has been made however.....there so much info in so many threads that need to be combined...but I do have a few favorites and I'm working on an iso sticky, based on the chemistry behind it. A lot of people don't like bho or even iso because of the unknown aspects when dealing with solvents.........anyway ...............haven't seen you put out anything recently twitch, you got any wax runs coming up?

make an iso sticky and i will pass it on to the mods, they just have to know what we want stuck they also have to approve it, but i am confident in your abilities to put together a good iso sticky
i was told by a mod that it will be seriously looked at, not brushed off, if we or you produce something sticky worthy

Maybe if we find chunks from a thread were we can really say fuck me that conversation between those two people over 7 pages of bullshit boils down to a really nice 1 page Q&A format that could be made into that style of how to understand thread. There's so many mysteries to allot of results, one thread you read shatter in an hour the next you ready people who claim to be industrializing the process are taking 36 to 72 hours for shatter wtf.

After last night I can finally answer that, as it's been killing me for over a month. So much heresay about moisture exposure in the product and I can tell's yah a quick redisolve in ethanol and repurge will dry that puppy back to "sec" in a jiffy. The more water you've illegally bonded by emulsion waxy or not " time dependant" the more times you might have to remux it. It's a subtly that won't even come to mind unless reclaiming alcohol "you $200 organic grape alcohol user's"" would find as a priority.

I think i took that info that got me to try it off a discussion about water in butane and some remarks about ethanol having a great water load capacity and it being used in the winter to keep water in the fuel line burning. I thought whoa what if cycling my oil through the ethanol would parse out the micro water bonds so they can boil off.

See what I mean, i just wrote that tid bit on page 3 of a RIP vac thread, who the hells gunna find that.

in your profile you can join/create club...just click join groups and from there you can create your own club, which you have control of who joins

Just want to say I got a lot of respect for the contributors here and appreciate the information they risk to share. People can figure out awesome and creative ways to make concentrates and then just keep that for themselves. Instead these brave souls share their expertise with total strangers only for the satisfaction of doing it. A passion for science and devotion to the cannabis concentrates of their choice often spurs inflammatory debate but also a wealth of rich information for those who are interested to learn from and expand on. Knowledge is power...bitch

There have been some excellent ideas on this thread to improve the C&E section.

As a newbie hash maker, I second qwizokings suggestion of a series of stickies re the basic techniques of hash making. Without the help of the guys here [especially vacpurge] god-knows where my efforts would be heading.
Who decides on what's stickied? It might be a good idea to ask those here who are EXPERIENCED hash makers to decide amongst themselves what thread deserves a sticky?
A hash club is an excellent idea. But it needs to be started by one of you guys with much experience, [you guys know who's suitable to run one.] Do it before a dangerous loony does

Dangerous loonies is a great name for a hash club...or a band. I agree the C & E section is way too limited in scope for all the great BHO and ISO info out there. One Matt Rize sticky doesn't cut it but is a good starting point to start learning about concentrates IMO.
