do you have a ocslating(if that is how it is spelled)on it? the fan would help make the stem stronger.

Stress is the best way to get that stalk growth. You're gonna have to use a pretty damn strong fan to gain the strength you're looking for I'd wager. Check my gallery, find the photos called Stalks of Steel. (I'm growin' outside, you'll see.)

Oh, sorry, forgot to help you out with that one. It's oscillating. As in the fan oscillates. Scintillating! :D

well, i'd start with small nicks, or cuts in the stem, bending it over and tying it on its side, or plunging thumbstacks into the center of stem when its bigger.

well one time on the top i did like squeeze it to like break the cells inside to regrow stronger but it kinda looks like a crack through the stem that i can see through lol. so i stopped doing that. and im just feelin like if i tied it down sideways it might like snap in middle of my stem cause its so skinny so im trying to find something i can put in it or something to get it thicker... but i did just go put my fan on its 2nd speed so its blowing a little more than it was.

i just dont understand how i see pictures of plants up here that have a stem close to the size of a quarter and my stem is like maybe as thick as an eraser on a pencil or something. ur telling me the fan blowing it made that much of a damn difference?

its like 2 and a half foot tho.. and one of the reasons i want it to be thicker is because im about to do a moving process into a new house (only like 10 minutes down the road) but i want it to have more of a successful move without it hurting anything..

your best bet is just to have a fan on it.

on your next grow just make sure to have a fan next to the plants from when there seedlings. my stalks arent super thick but boy are they strong man. and thats all you need is a strong stalk thickness dont mean squat (unless your an outdoors grower then its a whole differ situation

i guess... im starting to think im just gonna have to tie the top up where my lights hang to keep it from trying to hold itself up when it starts budding..
