Short plants, Good Yield, Hi Potency, Resinous for making Honey Oil - Which strain?

I want a strain that is quite short (indoor size limitations) with a good yield of buds. The more potent the better - obviously, and I would like to try and make honey oil (butane extraction) so a resinous strain would be useful. Plus I am an absolute beginner so I'm wanting something that's straight forward and hardy. I have looked at Herbies Seeds but there are so many brands and types and strains that I was overwhelmed by the sheer choice (it's 20 years since I was a stoner).

Is that a genuine type.... After a 20 year absence I return to find Pineapples and Bubblegum, AK47's and even Cheese.... so I'm genuinely asking

Seeds and genetics have a lot to do with what you're describing. However, I think you'll find that its not easy getting there even if you buy the most expensive seeds. Experienced growers are really what brings out, those most sought after traits. I think what you are looking for is definitely a indica dominant strain.

I never said I wasn't a stoner. In my late teens/early 20's I lived for ganja. Travelled to Thailand, Philippines, India, Morocco and Amsterdam (many times). I once prepared a grow room but backed out when a series of raids effected many of my circle and even confiscated the cuttings that were due to move into my new room. I always enjoyed the 'fine wines' aspect of cannabis. It used to be such an ego booster when you could roll up some Manali, Sharif or Durban Poison. Gradually all the different types dried up and standard Moroccan slate or commercial weed were all that remained. In 10 years of serious smoking I only ever had Honey Oil once - years later people still mention it "Remember when you got that amber oil stuff...?" Now I smoke very occasionally and, on those rare occasions, I use very little. I believe that less is more with a cannabis high and, if I smoke more than a little, I start to experience negative emotions - such as extreme introspection and over analysis as well as a serious lack of motivation to do anything other than smoke BUT I DO smoke and I enjoy impressing others with my ability to create the things that money cannot buy. I also make opium and know how to extract morphine base and I hope to build my own still for the production 190*proof alcohol.

Just find a nice Afghan Hash Plant. There are a few out there. They tend to be short indica dominant and resinous.
CH9 has one. Look at the Vintage 2006. Strange name, but awesome skunky, resinous smoke.
Another plant that's a little bigger but hardier and easier to grow, is Alphakronik Snowdawg. That thing was made for making hash and oils.

Making oil isn't my primary concern. I want to grow as much as possible as a decent strength bud - but I'd like to use the trim (and lesser buds) to attempt the butane extraction of Honey Oil. Afghan#1 is recommended in Greg Green's Bible. CH9...? Is that a brand or seed bank? (I'm more green than the plants!).

White S1S by ograskal, wifi by ograskal (super potent, super resinous). White dawg by Topdawg. Those I think wwill be your best for resin and very high potency

spacebomb from tga seeds is a very very resinous plant but not all phenos stay short, this particular one i grow is a very short plants that bushes naturally and is great for concentrates.

this plant is excellent for making bubble hash in particular, it has large resin heads that stay whole through the extraction process, i haven't made oil with it but would imagine it would work well.

Well. Column A will be at worst unpleasant. Column B will certainly kill a horse, let alone a human.

As far as strains go - what are the height limitations (for the plant)? 4 ft? 3 ft? 2 ft?

I am in no way saying your incapable of making honey oil but there are many alternatives to making a butane extraction that are much safer and won't get you put in jail for manufacturing a controlled substance. I know three dudes who have gotten their lives turned upside down by making wax. One got caught with 6 lbs of wax and is looking at some jail time another burned his hands off and the last one blew up his house.

(btw the three individuals have been doing this for YEARS and have set up safety precautions etc so that htis wouldn't happen however butane is weird and travels pretty far.)

Good luck man, I know you probably won't take my advice but just buy some bubble bags and make some full melt. Great effect, great flavor, no chance of boom boom!

Sorry it's taken so long for me to respond - I lost track of this particular thread.

I have a 4 x 4 x 6ft tent, 600w and 6'' fan.

So it's not just height advice I need.
I need suggestions for amount of plants, size of pots.

I think I'm sold on using coco growing medium and a professional feed (not sure which is best so there's another aspect that you guys would be helping me out with).
Just one caveat.
I live in England so there will be some USA stuff that is simply unavailable to me.

Everclear 95% alcohol isn't available here, for example.
And, if it was, it would be expensive.
(20 cigarettes $11)
1 litre of petrol (gasoline) $2 - and it's price has reduced by about 15c recently.

Our tax man makes yours look reasonable!

I am unfamiliar with the terminology (which is a fairly usual occurrence for me, on this site).
I am, however, intrigued.
Please tell me more.

As for honey oil.
In 25 years of smoking I have only ever had it twice.
It is very rare and exclusive and commands legendary respect in the "Remember when...." stakes.
(Not to mention selling for a shit load of cash!)

As for "Prison or Jail" That's always a possibility when one even starts to grow in my country.
I think oil would be classed the same as any cannabis.
A few years ago it looked like decriminalisation was approaching.
The government lowered it from a class B to a class C drug (heroin/cocaine are class A)
Then some fucking religious types made a fuss so the government, who wanted to placate the bible bashers but didn't want to be seen 'flip flopping', increased the legal penalties of class C drugs to that of class B drugs.

So the only thing that changed was the name!

Democracy in action....

Bubble hash is just used making bubble bags that are expensive and are a pain in the ass. I hate them too the fullest because they have a shitty return and very little hash that fully melts. Make some qwiso and get some bomb oil the safe and easy way. Mason jar, coffee filter or cheese cloth, 91-99% Iso alcohol, flat glass dish, razor blade and some sugar leaf, bud, whatever you want to use. Read up on qwiso, simple, safe, and very strong if made properly
