new grower looking for tips, tricks and advice

whats goin on people im trying to find out how to tell the sex of a plant before it starts to flower or grow sacks. Im a new grower and im very open to advice as long as it doesnt cost a lot. I have grown before but it took about 7 months. i did get a nice female out of it so it was very incarraging but i hit some bumps a long the way but i learned a lot so now i just want to perfect it, i got a little over 2 ounces out of it and it smoked pretty good. First plant... i have previous posts u can check from before this.

These are the new ones now i no the set up isnt the best looking out there but im working on it

you can tell by the pre-flowers. Search for pics of pre-flowers - look at em - you be an expert in no time. Pre's show themselves at 4+ weeks from seed.

This, right along side of ensuring proper pH, is the number one thing to keep in mind.

If you make a change, give it at least a few days to see results. If you make more than one change at a time, you'll never know what caused any benefits or drawbacks.
