looking for the strongest smell after cure is complete. There is much debate on this subject... I am curious if anyone has any opinions. I am looking for a high yeilder. 550 and up meter square. 9-10 weeks max and ofcourse high thc.
also a high flower to leaf ratio.

at the moment i have ceres widow, sannies heri, and the smell just isnt where it needs to be imo.
i have holygrail kush form cc on the way, and kosherkush from reserva, and critical kush from barneys.
any info on the ones im waiting for would be great ..... thanks .....

Anything with The One in it by Sannies will have a loud nose. Sugar Punch when it drops again is a stellar choice. Kush tends to smell pretty strong but of course it will vary a bit pheno to pheno. Heri isn't strong smelling for sure. Haven't tried the Ceres Widow, that White Widow?

Want smell- avoid sannies and all dutch companies and go for California genetics.
Want yield avoid most ogs and get something with some Diesel in the genetics for smell.
Try og rascal white fire (feminized) or emerald triangle blueberry headband (dont get the feminized with this company they hermie) the headband you may only
find 1 winner in a pack though but it will make a good mother the (Diesel fuel one)
many Cali strains require topping for yield and don't branch a lot- top these strains i listed.
herijuana like most sannies strains is at the bottom for smell and not grade a smoke around this area
I have grown out a lot of sannies strains and consider it a waste of time when compared to the seeds with California genetics that I have run. I am sure people will whine and cry about this but its the truth.
I don't like white widow strains either. Also remember that high yielding strains are almost always less potent.

.
Hanging the whole plant to dry makes a huge difference and despite what people say with practice
makes for faster trimming. I wasted years wet trimming and trying everything in the dry and cure
the smells from dry trim are better since the bud dries more evenly and is not still so wet on the inside

See my signature for report on Williams Wonder.

Its high yield, high potency, high odor (smells like sour lemon candy after long cure). Strain is not for everyone; its a pure 100% "couchlock" indica, susceptible to mold in humid conditions due to high bud density, and can throw off nanas late in flowering, but I think it meets your criteria.

Not sure that many of these OG-type crosses are going to meet your criteria of high yield, but they should smell great, and I haven't ever hear anyone say anything bad about the Kosher Kush.

Sugar Punch is a high yielder. I'm trying out Silverfields currently. People have said it's quite good too but it's newer and less reports on it.

I grew out Bright Moments from Gage Green. It wasn't in the same league potency wise and the Grapestomper is supposedly some kind of godly cut. It was good, not great. Of course I prefer Sativa buzzes and the BM is decidedly more mellow (and easier to build a tolerance too). It had a great nose, really smelt grapey and fruity but the Sugar Punch smelled more overwhelmingly strong to me, you could mistake the BM for something other than weed possibly. Fruit Candy and Skunk with Haze and Diesel undertones best describes the Sugar Punch aroma.

As far as Sugar Punch (and others) being low quality - the pics alone say a lot:

That was on a first run, not well dialed at all. My Grapestomper did better in terms of dialage on the first go, it seemed to like the formula I was feeding. Not all the Sugar Punch plants did though, some were fine, the more sativa dominant phenotypes did not like the amount of phosphorous they were getting as well as nitrogen. Grown in Coco.

Anyway, Sannie can't take Credit Cards anymore so that might not really be a viable option for you anyway.

I agree with the other guys that OG and OG crosses will not be high yielding strains as a general rule.

I see mostly good reports on Kosher as well. I did see Farmerjohn end up being less than impressed but I'm pretty sure he only had a couple phenotypes. It grew really strangely almost no branching. Probably just bad luck. One of the Silverfields I'm growing had a weird mutation where instead of growing normally from the apex of the plant it grew a 4 pointed leaf that was kind of deformed and round edges - not Cannabis looking at all. Then a regular shoot appeared below and now it's growing fine.

So what are you using on your plants.....dont need names of fertilizers.....just curious if its organic, chem, or a combo.
Thanks

That williams wonder is a yielder i ran it in the 80s but high smell and top quality it is not.
Obviously, how something is grown, cured, then stored affects final odor. For sure there are more stinky strains/buds out there, but in my experience, this one is high odor.

Top quality is somewhat subjective, because different people are after different things. The original poster is asking specifically for high odor, yield, and potency, with a normal flowering time of about 10 weeks. How many lines out there actually meet all those criteria, let alone ALSO give top tier scent/flavor? Yield and potency in particular are usually a compromise.

On the Williams Wonder, not only is it potentially highly potent (eg see lab test at 23.8% total cannabinoids: http://www.sclabs.com/sample-details.html?task=sample&sample=120808K028 ) but it has a high-CBD, high-THCV profile that makes it a particular "wrecker" disproportionate to the absolute THC numbers. There is a reason this one was known as Willie's "One Hit" Wonder, and not because its weak!

Of course there are more potent lines out there, but I haven't seen too many that will yield like this one does, let alone in only 65 days flat with low stretch and minimal training.

On scent/smell, again, that's somewhat subjective. Williams Wonder has a somewhat unusual floral/citrus scent/flavor. A lot of people really do seem to like it, even if it is because its noticeably different than most of the usual kushes/diesels. Personally, I wouldn't call this a contender for "most tasty" strain, but the flavor is at least OK, and based solely on smell/taste I'd still take this over a lot of other stuff.

To be more precise i am looking for a 70 day max 500+ gram per m2 strain that after cure absolutely reeks. (example, the type of bud that if one would have a small bag in there car and get pulled over there is no trying to deny that there is pot in the car. (i used to have a serious ak47 mother years ago, but the yeild was 400 gram m2 or so.) Has anyone tried ak from serious lately? or 818 headband?? or for that matter holygrail kush?

Ok.....i'm thhinkin' i know what kinda strain your talking about.
Now on the M-2 could you possibly mean m-39?
This is a very nice Christmas tree shaped indica dominant hybrid....contains old shunk#1 x basic 5(northern lights#5).
This is not what you get from sensi nowadays in their nl#5 x skunk#1.
These were old genetics and the plants reeked something awful-good!!:-)
yes it was a very good yielder, but back then, about 15 years ago, i didnt care about those kinds of things! Massive resin producer!!
So if that was the strain you think it might be then i would suggest......freisland indica(supposed to be m-39, but never tried it)....and shoreline, which i have in veg.....and it smells exactally the same as i remember m-39.

kona gold m-33 was freisland and it does grow well indoors at all. it is no where near similar to m-39 skunk#1 x basic5. william`s wonder was m-31 doesn`t do well outdoors. m-2 was manilla fillipino.

I think he's referring to yield per square meter, which is a common way of trying to "normalize" yield between strains. The issue here is that its really very hard to standardize this sort of thing, and you especially need to take number claims of this nature from any breeder with a gigantic grain of salt. To get max potential per square meter, obviously, you need optimal conditions of light, training, and nutes.

Expanding on this, so far as I know, there is no pure Friesland indica on the commercial market anymore. You can still find some hybrids with these genetics in there, but right now its effectively a "lost strain".

M2/Filipino is (was?) a super-stretchy sativa. Even if you could somehow find beans for that, its probably not something well suited to indoor growing, let alone something high yielding in only 10 weeks.

M31 is the old Super Sativa Seed Club catalog number for Williams Wonder, but just to clarify, the ad copy and story about this one not being able to flower outdoors just isn't true.

Not only has this strain been grown outdoors as an heirloom line for 30+ years in the Pacific Northwest, but multiple individuals have told me they used to grow it outside, no problem. In fact, by all accounts, when grown outdoors the yield is absolutely massive. The big caveat growing this outdoors is that the unusually heavy bud density also makes the strain particularly susceptible to botrytis bud rot. Its not a good choice outdoors if your area has cold humid falls.

Back on above, I think this one does meet the given criteria of >500g/sqm yield, and its legitimately done in 65 days. I have no idea if it passes (flunks?) the cop in car test, nor have I any interest in finding out, but again, in my experience, its high-odor. Stinkiest? I don't think so.

If you want to read a pretty amusing summary of the line by a guy who grew this one for years, hit the link in the "money" quote below. For what its worth, everything he says agrees with my experience here:
