How much longer before harvest?

Hey guys. How much longer do you think this girl's got? Another week? Two weeks? Or is she ready already? I don't have a magnifying glass and this is pretty much my first grow. It is an Afghan. Any advice is appreciated.

From the looks of those pictures I'd say some time. How long have they been flowering? Typical indica 9 weeks flower. You really should invest 12 bucks and get a microscope from Radio Shack so you can check the trichs. In my opinion that's the only way to do it. Hasn't failed me yet.

get one of these and check the tricolms... It would also depend on the type of high your looking for.. Couchlock? 80% cloudy 20% amber... It is really hard to tell when a plant will be done no matter how good the pic.. Well, unless you have a real good macro pic of the tricolms.

Thanks everyone! I'll definitely be investing in a scope now. I think she has been going for 7 weeks now. I want more couchlock so I will wait for the amber.

@bioWheel: my soil is still damp, I don't think I need water for another day or two right? I know she isn't in the best shape, cuz I've made quite a few mistakes. Heat stress, topping at the wrong time, etc. Maybe that's why it looks like it needs water?

High is strain dependent. You can't grow a pure sativa, flower it until mostly amber and have the effects of a pure indica. That would make strains with different effects a HUGE gimmick. If you want more couchlock, grow a pure indica, simple.

Thanks for the article, mr2shim. So the whole thing about "harvesting late makes for sleepier buds" - is there no truth to this at all?

Hello!
Sorry if my english is not well enough ...
I really need advice.
My seedlings are 8 days old and seem to stop growing, some brown spots occured and their colour is lime green...I guess...
We planted them in soil mixture with some nutrients in it and I was wondering if they could have a nute burn?
They are growing under CFL's , receive acc 10300 lumens in a box 50x50x50 cm.
Temp is from 24°-28°C and the seedlings are 3-4" from the bulbs with fan gently ventilating them.
I am watering them with potable water...
I know they should be bigger by now
Any advice...please?

P.S: - pls ignore the beyblade :-)

As with most new growers, you over watered the plants. Let them dry out a bit and watch them take off.

Fuck that radio shack crap, go to Northern Hydraulics and buy a $4 jewelers loupe. It you don't wear glasses, then go get a $1 pair of clear glass glasses at the dollar tree.

Not at all. It's strain dependent, just like with flushing. There's little truth to flushing making your buds taste different. flushing because you have nutrient lockup however is beneficial. There's a lot of misinformation floating around the MJ community.

TONS of misinformation., especially on this site.....

Should let them grow biggers and then made them flower, it really erks me when I see like 6 inch plants that are already flowering -.- let them live up to their potential

You're telling me... Man I really wish I could have let them grow bigger - I thought I was gonna have more time to get my room setup before flowering. But I bought these clones and put them outside, and before I knew it they had already started blooming. Even worse, I beheaded them after that (thought I was cloning, don't ask!). So yeah it is a bit frustrating since I will get such a small yield, but I'm just trying to make the best of what I still have here. If all I get is a quarter oz from her I will be happy with that. All I can do is learn from my mistakes and move on.

Its up to u but I like flavors and a little couchlock so I would let it go 2 weeks. plus it will be more worth the work you've done.
