Didja see Em on Saturday Night Live last weekend? Rick Rubin was with him as his DJ and very low-key hype man...

haters gonna hate. I think you're really hearing that emotion coming through like tupac. best comparison of rappers style. If he was still alive he'd have got steady better with the writing and technical aspect and these two would be back and forth at #1 with no 3 in site.

in one of the songs on the new album he says "Fuck top 5, bitch, I'm top 4 / And that includes Biggie and Pac, whore / And I got an evil twin, so who do you think that's 3rd and that 4th spot's for?

I think em would agree. doesnt em own all of tupac's image too? like all the rights to his shit?

Might as well spam this thread...

Not sure how many real underground hip hop fans are here but next Saturday (11/16) in Chesterfield at the Diesel Concert Lounge R.A. the Rugged Man will be performing. In my opinion R.A. is one of the all time greats and one of the best MC's in the game right now...

Lesson for the day...

R.A. was one of the first white rappers to get singed to a major label (JIVE Records) back in the early 90's and actually had a deal for over $1.5 million dollars (unheard of at the time for rap music) that he actually opted out of after refusing to conform to the kind of music the label wanted him to make. Instead he left the label (dead broke) and built a career 100% out of his talent and respect from real MC's and producers in hip hop. He's been a respected MC for well over 20 years and done songs with Notorious BIG, Wu Tang Clan, Rakim, Brand Nubian, Jedi Mind Tricks, Biz Markie, Talib Kweli, Masta Ace, Mobb Deep, Kool G Rap, Public Enemy, MF Doom, EPMD, ect... REAL HIP HOP! I'll have FREE stickers, posters and download cards for R.A.'s latest album Legends Never Die at the show for anyone interested!

Another taste, the lyrics are a true story of his fathers Vietnam experience and how Agent Orange plagued his family. Source Magazine nominated for verse of the decade.

One more, first single off Legends Never Die (in honor of his father) that came out earlier this year.

I like Eminem, he's a local boy who clearly worked hard to get where he is today. Not too long ago many where banning his work and slandering him personally. I don't think hipsters demeaning industry leaders have a leg to stand on talking about Em like he is Drake or something ;)

with images like this it makes ya wonder......

IlluminatiWatcherDotCom-Eminem-Illuminati.jpg

the whole "wicked" thing really started blowing up in the mid west circa 1990ish.

$$$$$ started flying around.

disney signs ICP under island records and then proceeds to "Drop them from the label" cause they were too hardcore (great press for ICP) but about 2 minutes later psychodisneypathic records came out. $$$$$

said hardcore band then proceeds to wage war with the only other person that they could. Em. dividing the "Wicked" Community and cementing allegiances.

i read a very very long letter (Il try to find the link) from a man who worked in the record industry from 1989-2004 and he said all the top dogs are tied in with the private prison industry. once he found out just how bad it was he ran and blew the whistle.

i always wonder. how many people hit there old lady cause of all the eminem they listen to? or how many people do crazy drunken shenanigans wanting to be a Juggalo?

even ole whitey ford... always talking about carrying guns and committing crimes, yay extra felonies!

they all make it cool to be poor to. the hard working man is honorable and whatnot.

basically i love me some industry magik errr i mean music but the underground has its place too, which its even being exploited now due to it no longer being "the underground" theres a lot of money to be made being an unsigned artist.

i know the old argument "its just music it doesn't control me!" but in a way ya it does. especially if you drink alcohol. drink enough and your sub conscience takes control. just does what it thinks it should. which sometimes is shoving a 3 liter of faygo up your ass and running down main street.

idk why i went on this little rant lol. the whole prison/music industry connection is kinda interesting tho. think of all the artists that go do time to get cred. a lot of them.

even rick ross used to be a prison guard and worked his way up and met the right people. he's got acting training from wayyy back is the word so he was perfect for the job. loyal and able/willing. he's an absolute terrible rapper who is ugly as fuck but if you hang enough diamonds of him and act like he's cool the sheep will follow.

BOSS!

and don't let all this nonsense I'm spewing make you think maybe I'm hating on Em or anyone in the game or whatever. hell if operation sedgwick is real i wanna shake the guys hand who's running it lol. absolutely genius.

music is very very old. its been argued that music and magic are one. magic is nothing more then "Control" or "Manipulation" whether its with slight of hand or massive huge piles of lies that make people think things and do things. OR words tied together in a chanting repeating fashion over deep reinforcing bass and hypnotizing treble!

i love me some music!
