Hey everyone! I am wondering if I can or should transplant yet?? The one on the left in the picture is 2 weeks old today the one on the right is 1 day behind it. There are NO tap roots coming out the drain holes but i have peeled back the side of solo cup and both of them have roots on the edges. Should I wait another week or do it today before lights out?? I am going from solo cup to 1 gallon smart pot then before flowering I'm going to 5 gallon smart pots maybe around week 5 as I'll be veggin for I guess 6 weeks. They are fem Dutch Mazar Passion. They look great big lush leaves and smell skunky lol.

You mentioned "before lights out". Are you running 12/12 from seed? Or just an 18/6 photoperiod?

If you are in 18/6, you can repot them now BUT I would wait 2 more weeks, let those roots fill up that cup.

If you are running 12/12 from seed, leave them in those cups until they show sex ( probably 10 days or so from now ) then repot as soon as they whip out a pistil.

wait another week or so then transplant into ur final pot. Transplanting is a big way to stress ur plant the less times u do it the better. I transplanted my baby once into its final 5 gallon pot and its growing insane. Good luCk :joint:

I go from sprout to final container whats the point in transplanting 3-4 times ??

This allows the tap root to go deep and have a better root structure.

plant health and i read many other negative things about straight to large final pot as plants like reaching there limits and at that point (before root bound) transplant. I have nothing to base that off of other than the many many reviews

For me I usually transplant twice and finishing in a 5 gallon smart pot. I don't go straight from seedling to 5 gallon pot because of water retention issues. My theory is that that five gallon pot would be very slow to dry out and my shit seems to grow better when I water then let dry then water again and so on.
