Hi im a new grower and im Not sure about this new plant i have. It seems too be growing too tight its only 2 1/2 weeks old 2 inches high and is working on its 5th node. By the time any new fan leafs are about1/2 inch long it starts on new growth, any help would be great.
The strain is carnival fem

I love strains that grow tight like that. My Jack Herer is exactly the same. It works out perfectly for SOG/perpetuals :)

i don't think that problematic. Short and stocky works better than stretched too far out. Should look great after topping.

I was gonna say, dense plants are great, it will stretch plenty muchlings anyways in flower so keeping it short and squat for now is good!

I will also say I have a GHS TW on the go at the moment that is exactly the same, so fucking short and wide like a mega chode, topped it at the 5th node and bam now shes growing into a chode bush!

WOW, you're wasting 400 Watts of light. You don't really have that much light do you? One of those bulbs is more than enough. That's why the plant is so tightly stacked. It's not a problem, just a waste. A guy grew out a NL#5 and flowered it using 78watts of CFL. His dry harvest weight was like 2.5oz. With only 78watts! This was not a fluke either.

Sounds like the perfect specimen for an LST grow...and as stated earlier she'll stretch during flowering
