Been on 12/12 for a week, no sign of flowering?

thats a good idea for the light spectrum range, i like the low heat production as it can slow flowering becuase cold simulates its closer to winter and heat simulates closer to summer. but i don't know how much of an impact it makes, but anyways yeah thats a cool setup.

Yeah thats why you can take cuttings off a seed plant, put the cuts into a 12/12 environment and they will show sex very soon after.

Also think about topping you plant if its lanky, or bending and tying.

So you could just cut off a clone if you wanted to just figure out the sex without putting the entire plant into the flowering stage?

cool, thanks welshwizzard , i got a plant that naturally grew into to tops, and i didnt top it, the seeds all came from the same plant and its the only one, i have to clone that one!

get at that bro! before its to late, i wish i had more room to work with, id have allot more going on, i have some seeds i got from some very high quality stuff, i have them in the freezer untill i have the room to plant them and see what i get. what would u say is the cheapest but best light for about 4 plants. by this till ill also have a whole room for this so room wont be a factor i dont think.

Your light needs to have to have so many lumens per foot or sumthin like that, i think it mostly depends how your growing, vertical or horizontal, sometimes you may want to put a light on the side of them if you think the tops are taking all the light.

Your light needs to have to have so many lumens per foot or sumthin like that, i think it mostly depends how your growing, vertical or horizontal, sometimes you may want to put a light on the side of them if you think the tops are taking all the light.

ive seen that before. i dont have the room for that atm as you saw in the photos, im def going to add some more in there, i might go with another one of those led lights, it cost me like 45 but itss got a really high lumen output and cost almost noving to run all day, and on top of that it produces NO downward heat, it has a vented section that gets hot but not enough to even come close to affecting the plants.

thats all the inspiration i need, imma try that, im using two 120w incandescents, they have alotta heat and limited spectrum, they seem to make the plant really healthy and hard to hurt, but they grow slowly. probly good for using when you need a plant to recover from something.

if you do just go to like lowes or home depot, look for a big ass led flood light, and grab the one with the highest lumen output, i think its like 1300 or 1400 or something like that, i think my plants look healthy enough. and others seem to agree as well. let me know how it goes if you end up doing it!

will do, and also if you planted both of these at the same time and there both the same age, im guessing the one on the right is female and the one on the left is male cuz they seem to be in sexual configuration lock.

Lol, thas just a guess, when a mommy and daddy love each other verry much lol they produce certain chemical stuff to message nearby plant that there male/female and the location, the male plant (like allotta ppl) position above the female and in a kinda configuration so pollon can fall off and land on the pistols.

I prolly am, sexing this early is darn near impossible, id say its only a 20% method, but if it is then its not all bad, my favorite thing about growing (other than smokin of course ) is breeding them, if you got differnt kinds then you can make a kind thats perfect for you, you prolly dont want to (and most people dont unless there selling big time) but i bought a 17,000 gene gun and a PSD, i can splice the genes and manipulate them, ive been trying to mix mary with onions (onions have big cells and easy to work with) and make THC produceing onions, imagine eating a whopper and getting stoned.
