I wasn't on RIU during Bush's reign, so I have only been exposed to the Obama sycophants. Did Bush have a crazed following of scrotum cuddlers like Obama has here? I think Barack could publicly fuck a preschooler and the progs would rush to defend him and then blame his debauchery on Ted Cruz or the latest Republican threat to humanity.

I have been reading Reason.com/blog for years and there was never this sort of idolizing of GWB over there.

IMO, the common people who admired and respected GW kept it to themselves or their circles.

With Obama, it's a whole new ballgame.
His persona, his popularity, especially with the economically challenged, is polarizing.
Obama is a promiser (my word) a modern day Robinhood.
I believe anytime a person in position gives the common man a glimmer of hope, it's hard for them to let go.

The poor and entitled really feel they have a horse in this race.

Except that is never what happens. Somebody will say, "man, Obama really screwed the pooch on X", and the inevitable response from you and the rest of the Obama ball suckers is "where were you when Bush did X?"

I don't normally like Matt Walsh blog but this one....at some point we need to stop using history to defend bad judgment in the present. Who cares about Bush, he sucked and so did a lot of presidents...yet so many use this defense to be ignorantly complacent of the issues happening right in front of them.
